Doctor MK added a post in a topic Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games
It's not been "officially" confirmed I don't think, but most of those new characters have flags being waved around in the audience if you look closely, which only tends to be the case with characters who are playable. Either way though I think it's highly unlikely that they'd be showing off this many rival characters so soon if they weren't actually going to be on the roster, that'd just be misleading - we don't even know if there's a single player/story mode yet, after all.

Doctor MK added a post in a topic Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has passed away
This news is the first thing I saw when I woke up this morning. At first, I thought it was some sort of crazy joke that had spiralled out of control overnight, but then it started to become more and more obvious and more and more real... it's incredibly sad and incredibly sudden.
Thank you Mr. Iwata for all you did for Nintendo, and for all you did for gamers everywhere. Even those out there who do not play your games or sometimes didn't agree with your business decisions... they cannot deny the impact you had on the industry and respect you for all you managed to achieve. Nintendo is going to have a very tough time replacing you.
RIP.

If anyone fancies watching the full panel, here it is in all its glory!

I must say I'm really impressed by how they've handled Doctor Who at Comic Con this time. There was so much outrage and drama over their last appearance in 2013 thanks to exclusive The Day of the Doctor trailer, it's refreshing to see that they've taken on board the criticisms and are sharing all the news much more openly now.
Also, interesting point to note - because this is the latest in the year that a new Doctor Who series has aired, the finale will be on 5th December which means less than 3 weeks between Series 9 ending and the 2015 Christmas special! Which is also going to make the wait for Series 10 feel even longer than ever, no doubt...!

Oh my (time) lord, this is far bigger and better than I could ever have imagined!
The trailer looks absolutely wonderful and there seems to be tons of Doctor Who content crammed in here. Seriously, how have they managed this? The Doctor Who LEGO figures were only announced themselves a few months ago, the dev team surely can't have had that long to work on all this? But by golly they have, and by golly it looks amazing!
Every single Doctor as well... didn't expect that, 'tis a very nice touch!
Here's a handful of screenshots showing off things like K-9, the Weeping Angels... and a Doc-meets-Doc scenario!

Doctor MK added a post in a topic Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip - "Because Four Equals Death"
As long as there are chipmunk title puns to be made and chart-topping songs to perform in chipmunk voices, this is a series that probably isn't going to be going away any time soon. The trailer just gives me vibes of "look, it's another Alvin movie... but this one has Uptown Funk!" - rather than churning out a new film every time some big new song takes over the industry, they should just do a remix album and call it Now! That's What I Call Chipmunk or something.
It's a shame really, because I really used to like the old Alvin & The Chipmunks cartoon as a kid. I've seen snippets of the first film and have been left uninspired, and absolutely nothing about this new one is changing my mind.

Doctor MK added a post in a topic Blue Sky Studio's Peanuts: Lights. Cameras. Beagles. (Nov. 6 2015)
So there's a game being released to accompany the film, called Snoopy's Grand Adventure and coming to pretty much every conceivable platform:
Includes two player co-op, with Player 2 flying around as Woodstock.
While I'm sure this will mostly be generic movie tie-in platformer fluff, I've gotta admit those visuals sure do look nice and are very in keeping with the style of the film. In that regard alone, it's worth taking note of!

Sorry to double post... but here comes the Doctor Who motherload!
Entertainment Weekly has also confirmed that Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman and Michelle Gomez will all be lending their voices to the game as The Twelfth Doctor, Clara and Missy respectively.
Now all we need is some gameplay from Comic Con and I will be in LEGO Doctor Who paradise! Gimme gimme gimme!

Aaaaaaand it's practically confirmed! Big reveal coming on Wednesday!
Oh shit if they get Peter Capaldi to do a live action trailer as The Doctor like they did for Christopher Lloyd and Doc Brown...!
The fact that they specifically say he's "reprising his role" makes me at least believe he's lending his voice to the game - the hype is real!
EDIT: The plot thickens! Another (older) photo has emerged, this time of Peter Capaldi with Stephen Sharples, assistant director for TT Games working on LEGO Dimensions. I guess this all but confirms he's had some personal input into the project!

Bump! This picture has just surfaced online of Peter Capaldi holding a LEGO TARDIS figure:
Now, Peter is currently on his way to Comic Con for the big Doctor Who panel on Thursday... and we know LEGO Dimensions is going to be at Comic Con too... so, with this photo all but confirming it, I think we can safely assume we'll be finally seeing some Doctor Who stuff in action for this game during the event!
The time for pre-ordering is near, I feel it in my bones!

Doctor MK added a post in a topic Amiibos (We all welcome Amiibros)
Went into GAME on Friday to pick up Yoshi's Woolly World and I had completely forgotten that the latest wave of amiibo came out the same day too... I'd all but given up on trying to get my hands on any of the figures - all the mad dashing to pre-order is way too much stress! - but fortunately, as it was release day, they had a few on the shelves in the store... I couldn't resist! Behold, my latest impulse purchase...

Anyway... Yoshi's Woolly World is out today in Europe, huzzah! I'll be picking up my copy later. To all the Americans out there who wont be able to get their hands on it for another four months... I feel for you.
