   Apparently Brand has now reversed his don't vote stance and is giving an endorsement to Labour in England* and Wales, and telling Scottish voters that they do not need another Englishman telling them how to vote.

   If it's true, I'm not surprised. Especially with the way he went after Jerry Falwell. Unfortunately, the current higher-ups at WBC aren't talking, claiming that 'membership issues are private'.

   All I can say about this ludicrous figure is this quote Richard M. Stallman said about Steve Jobs (and originally attributed to some wag about the death of former Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley):

   (P.S. While it's true he did picket gays, he also picketed the funerals of soldiers, natural disaster victims, school shooting victims, etc., in addition to being barred from entering the UK. All worthy of a corpse being in a topic of its own)

   You can extend the high school panel down far enough to middle school as far as I'm concerned.
    
   Personally, I never entirely cared what people thought about my taste in video game franchises (no matter how many times they called Sonic 'gay'). I enjoy Sonic for several reasons.
    
   1.) Sonic 2 was the first game I owned. I played the cartridge almost every day until I got Sonic 3, then played that until I got Sonic and Knuckles.
   2.) It's one of the happier times of my childhood. I got my Genesis as a shared Xmas gift (alongside my sister) from my grandma and aunt. Mom, who felt video games would rot her children's brains/were instruments of Satan/etc., attempted to get them to take back the gift, to no avail.
   3.) The music from the old Sonic games drives my mom crazy. She despises any song with repeating loops and such, especially the BGMs from Sonic 2, so much that I put on Emerald Hill Zone to get my mom to go away when she visits.

    Texas has always been a humorless state, IMO. My stepbrother's idiot cousin was playing with a cheap Bic lighter in school, flicking it about in class. One of the sparks landed in the hair of a teacher. She was hardly even singed because said idiot cousin put out the spark, leaving the teacher with no damage. Idiot cousin was charged with assault with a deadly weapon (the deadly weapon being fire) and was facing 20 years. Said idiot was lucky enough the teacher convinced the DA to let him get off with probation until age 21 and six months in alternative school.
    
    Tl;dr Texas is run by inbred conservative twats.
