    so uh

    can we talk about how ridiculous sheik + mr. game and watch is as a team and how this combination should be banned from tournaments ASAP????????????????????????????????????

    I think it's the same guy. Fox sounds really similar to how he does in 64 3D. The voice direction is just way different.

    The local co-op isn't all that, either. IIRC, one player controls the Arwing while the other shoots. The focus is entirely on single-player right now.

    I'm okay with that, honestly. Especially since they're considering adding it in later on anyways.

    I've wanted HW on 3DS ever since it came out on Wii U so, needless to say, I'm really happy about this. Tetra and the King of Red Lions are awesome additions and I can't wait to try 'em out!

    Nah, I'm pretty sure I meant that. Rosalina is a g a r b a g e character. She's just as bad as Kiddy Kong, honestly.

    Anyways, I hope the events in this are better than they were in Sochi. Not a lot of 'em were fun in that game lol.

    Wait, Diddy's playable? Huh. I saw the trailer but I didn't see him lol.

    Um... isn't there a tip for this in-game? How did you miss that? lol

    I miss my spiffy 1st and 2nd place badges... ;~;

    The reason I'm not bothered by amiibo and even enjoy them is the fact that they can be used to unlock stuff in any game that supports them. Over time they pay for themselves.

    It helps that I wasn't bothered by Skylanders or Disney Infinity, either.

    If that was the case, Fox and Falco would be at the very bottom of Melee's tier-list, haha.

    Tier-lists just show which characters have the best chance of winning a tournament in the current perceived meta. As new technology is found, players become better, and people become more aware of what every character in the game is capable of, the tier-list shifts and changes. Oftentimes dramatically (Anyone remember when DeDeDe and DK were top 6 and top 10 in Brawl respectively?).

    In Smash 4, because of it's better balancing compared to past titles, a character being low-tier doesn't necessarily mean they're complete trash and totally unusable; they're just worse than most of the cast. A lot of them still have niche uses and can compete in some fashion. For example, a little while back Trela (notable Robin/Shulk main) won a tournament with Mii Swordfighter and Nairo's Zelda has taken sets off Nietono's Sheik.

    It's gonna be interesting to see how much the new patch shakes up Japan's tier-list. Based on how terribly they overreacted to Greninja's nerfs, I fully expect Diddy to drop to, like, the middle of B-tier and S-tier probably won't exist anymore.

    For those who didn't see Japan's last tier-list, and I'm sure that's most of you because IIRC it was never posted here:
