Just literally one dollar away from buying a new intuos 5...but instead bought a bamboo create because of my impatience. That was a bad idea wasn't it?

Not really. The only reason you'd need a higher DPI/pressure point count is if you're creating industry resolution-sized work. So if you're not illustrating or doing graphic design professionally, then it makes no difference. I've seen masterpieces made with old-as-dirt Wacoms. It's not the tool, it's the artist.

That's very true, and while I actually am trying to get in that industry, I'm pretty sure this can get the job done. It's only the small things that I miss like the rotation of the pen, and extra buttons for brush size, and scrolling.
