Its not a joke Lunar and even if it is I am not laughing.

I for one are sick of his stupid 'angsty-facist' posts.

Then... i don't know... ignore them. His opinion is his opinion, there's no changing that. I'm not saying I agreed with what he said, I'm just saying don't make anything of it and move on. Comment wasn't even that bad, a lot worse could have been said. OMG someone said something bad about Furries! Like that hasn't been done before <.<

I'll tell a bit more of myself. I've learned from a lot of people and since Eve did pick out an apple and ate it, I'm allowed to know Good and/ or Evil.

The bad part about this, I know both very well. I may say good things, but then I have this tendency to say evil things.

I have the best both worlds, is what my teachers tell me.

So don't take it the wrong way, but I can be a bit evil sometimes. It may sound "stupid" but It's my humanly nature to be extremely selfish and greedy.

Well, you've got me beat there. I have no deity to blame when I say stupid or reckless things, and I've had to pick up the difference between good and evil as I grew up.

But you should know, I'm not calling you selfish or greedy. I'm calling you ignorant and naive. Which is amusing because cynism is normally gained through experience.

You're not cynical. You're just ignorant and rude. Like a child. Save cynism for adulthood.

(Yes, I've seen your profile. If you're 18, maybe it's time to start acting your age)

Do you have a problem with Christians or something? Not saying that I agree with this, as people can do whatever the hell they want, but it seems like every time one of these kinds of things come up that can even slightly be racked up to certain Christians being all "HERP-DERP I'MMA SHUV DIS 'ERE BIBLE DOWN YER THROAT" you blame it on them, even down to simple things like the removal of Rouge's fangs. Not trying to be offensive here, and I don't know if I missed anything that would confirm that it was those types of people pushing this through (Personally, I'd chalk it up to people with morals), it's merely an observation.

It was a Christian group named Mothers' Union who made Cameron give the order to the broadband companies. The Wikipedia page looks pretty accurate to me, so I'll just reel off a quote from it:

Aim & Purpose: To demonstrate the Christian faith in action by the transformation of communities worldwide through the nurture of the family in its many forms.

In order to carry out this aim, the Mothers' Union objectives are:

  • To uphold Christ's teaching on the nature of marriage and promote its wider understanding.
  • To encourage parents to bring up their children in the faith and life of the Church.
  • To maintain a worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer, worship and service.
  • To promote conditions in society favourable to stable family life and the protection of children.
  • To help those whose family life has met with adversity.

I don't know about you, but I don't want that kind of biased and bigoted organisation being allowed to dictate what I can and can't do on the internet. The very fact that they've gotten so much as a foot through the door of censorship is dangerous and worrying in itself...

The real reason this is happening at all is that Cameron is himself a recent father - he's been one long enough to realise the importance of a stable and nurturing family home and it's definitely noticably changed his political outlook, but he's still naive enough to not realise the practical realities of what children are actually like. If his own daughter ends up being a terror that would be absolutely hilarious and I can see it happening.

Banning porn is about as effective as banning drugs. Okay, so it's not actually being banned per se, but the point is that people can find ways to get prescription drugs without a prescription. Kids will still get their hands on it somehow. I don't believe in these nanny state regulations because they infringe on our rights- I don't believe in them because they're redundant and ineffective. Porn moreso than anything; trying to control porn on the internet is like trying to hold back an avalanche with a beaver dam.

Oh well okay. Since you're trolling then I guess that makes things completely different. I guess you wouldn't mind having a strike then, since trolling isn't allowed here.

Stop trying to justify the way you act by claiming you're trolling. I'm sick to shit of people doing this, and the next time anyone does this, I'm going to strike them on spot without warning, whether they mean it or not. If people want to hide behind an edgy facade, they might as well get the same treatment as the actual people who spend their useless time doing it.

Despite not living in the UK myself, it shouldn't be any of the government's business to tell people what they can and cannot access on the internet. Besides, what's stopping the tech savvy people from getting around these filters anyway?

If parents are so concerned about porn, there's a thing called parental controls. The parents should be the ones supervising their kids after all.
