Sonic Level Ideas?

Seriously is there anything Sonic HASN'T done?

From cities to areas made out of musical instruments...or food...

Is there any level ideas you can come up with SSMB that you would love to see in a Sonic game?

Well, that topic is more of a "Create your own Stage" topic.

This one is more of a "What kind of level tropes would you like to see" topic.

A giant space par...

A carnival in spac...

A rollercoaster through an asteroid fie...

A mountain made of giant hambur...

DAMN IT SONIC COLORS!!!

Ok so here's just a quick thought, just gonna split it into the old Acts 1&2 pattern that we know and love so much

Avalanche Barrage (Zone)

ACT1: you have to scale a blizzardy Icy mountain at night and find out that there is a crater at the top. The level layout is at first very natural aside from the badniks and there's lots of platforming involved with avalanches occasionally blocking off paths.

ACT2: You jump through the crater into an active volcano only to find it mechanized, so the whole setting changes. The begining is very rocky and molten. The challenge is just avoiding lava pits and rock crumbling that can block your paths, but eventually it turns more and more into a Secret lab type of setting with more mechanical traps like saws and there are a lot more badniks in this section. At the end eggman detonates the place and you're forced out of there through a crack in the wall. This scene has you snowboarding down the steep side of the mountain while avoiding avalanches and the flow of the lava.

Yeah we've seen the tropes already, but meh.

I'd like to see a reversal of a stage like Planet Wisp. Instead of a factory being built on a beautiful environment, an abandoned factory slowly being reclaimed by the forces of nature.
