Sega to demo a later stage at Paris Games Weekons

I personally think Sega has showed PLENTY of the game, showing yet another level in full is getting a bit extreme, especially if it's something later like perhaps Crisis City.

It will probably be Speed Highway, as I'd imagine them to keep most of the modern levels a secret, for various reasons maybe?

I hope it's not Speed Highway. That's the one level I want to be surprised with most when the game releases. Unfortunately that seems like the most likely candidate.

I'll probably ignore it. I don't really want every Zone spoiled before I play it. I mean, the game is less than 2 weeks away!

It's probably a later stage they've already played like Sky Sanctuary zone.

Nope, gonna be a stage that wasn't revealed yet.

It's most likely Rooftop Run. There's been little footage of it over the last couple of months, and it is niether the final level or the beginning of one of the eras.

I'm really hoping to hear the classic remix

It's most likely Rooftop Run.

For the last time, this is going to be a stage that WAS NOT REVEALED YET.

Speed Highway, Crisis City and Planet Wisp haven't gotten a real announcement, aside from screenshots.

I think it's possibly a stage outside of what's been shown during public demos, and what's been shown on some preview footage.

I'm gunning for the four remaining: Speed Highway, Crisis City, Rooftop Run or Planet Wisp.

I'm thinking it's Rooftop Run, it was shown behind closed doors to certain people at certain conventions in the past; and I think it's following a certain pattern. When Green Hill was made playable to the public at E3, City Escape was shown behind closed doors. When City Escape was made playable at conventions, Rooftop Run was shown behind closed doors, so yeah...

In any case, it would mean that the public would've seen one stage of every era at least.

Honestly, if it's possible to catch some footage, I'd like to see the various callbacks SEGA/SonicTeam made. Heck, I've been reminded of Hill Top after seeing the Modern Era trailer showing off Classic Rooftop Run.

Plus, I forgot where, but someone reported that there will be a reference to Sonic 3&K's Angel Island zone - namely the Flying Battery dropping bombs at you as you keep your speed up underneath it. I heard it from somewhere, I don't remember the source, but if it's true, that'd be pretty awesome!

Yeah I heard something similar. The Flying Battery is supposed to attack you as you progress through the level and you have to defeat it somehow.

Sweet, so it's not just me then? I KNEW I wasn't crazy!*brick*

I think it's already stated for Classic Sonic that once it reaches the clock tower, you scale up it [just as in Unleashed], then once you're next to it, go inside, go crazy, get out, blows up. Going in and out is said to take a few seconds, so it's part of the stage, but it'd be cool if we can see the inside, and even more so if it emulates the old Flying Battery zone in any way other than its presence.

Oh yeah, I heard that as well. It seems Modern Sonic fights it by boosting into Egg Fighters and knocking them at the Flying Battery, but I could be wrong about that. I also heard Classic Rooftop Run is longer than the Modern version.

Egg Fighters? Oh, like in the recent era trailer, right?

I also find it nice that we might be seeing various paths that Sonic took as the Werehog. That's actually pretty cool that they're not ignoring the nighttime stage designs of Rooftop Run.

It's been confirmed that Classic Sonic's version of the level features sections taken from the Werehog levels, and I noticed that the Spagonia Hub from Unleashed has been integrated into both Sonics' levels. (Modern's more so than Classic's, from what I've seen so far.)

Pics or it didn't happen.

Nah, I kid. xD Heck, one thing I'm gonna enjoy the most out of Generations is basically pointing every little thing out, and most likely squeee in excitement. That'll be fascinating, exploring what was once the hub world. biggrin.png

Could it be.......Casino Night DLC?

Well, no. See, it's a level that hasn't been revealed, so it's clearly the Time Eater stage.

Honestly I think this all depends on the definition of "revealed". Revealed as in "it's had a reveal trailer", or revealed as in "We've shown off a demo of this stage."

If it's one that has had a trailer, then the only real choice is Casino Night DLC, but it could very well be in reference to a stage that hasn't been shown in a demo yet, which leaves Modern/Classic Speed Highway, Crisis City, Rooftop Run, or Planet Wisp.

...Or it's a reveal of a future DLC stage that SEGA will release in the coming months...? Nah, that's just wishful thinking.
