Eggman (Contains spoilers for those who have not beat Generations yet)

Something Generations pointed out. Eggman has gotten a lot crazier than he use to be. I really think that's going to effect him in future games. I mean yeah, Egg robo in sonic 2 & Sonic and Knuckles was great, even trying to control Dark Gaia and perfect chaos were fantastic ideas. And even wanting to use a mega powerful laser to hold the planet hostage was amazing. But an amusement park and then trying to take out 2 sonics? Really? He's gonna end of killing himself before he gets the chance to build Eggmanland. Oh wait I mean take over the planet. (He technically already built Eggyland in Unleashed) I'm an Eggy fan but seeing how much crazier he's gotten in the past 5 years really throws me off. Hell even his past self admitted that his future self is crazy. What are your thoughts SSMB?

I love how Classic Tails called Classic eggy robotnik. That was a nostalgia boner by itself.

Well, having an IQ of 300 and being able to make master plans and menacing machines only to see them all being wrecked always by the same hedgehog again and again and not being able to figure out why he always fails...and this being only one of his few daily routines, it'd be a reason to slowly go crazy.

I know. It's only a matter of time before sega incorporates that into one of the games. Something I can not wait to see.

Crazier or not, I just hope he get increasingly menacing. When I'm presented with a guy with an IQ of 300, I want to be intimidated at what he's scheming and plotting. Really show me what "evil genius" is all about. I'm flattered at the little obvious attempts Sega tries, like "OH NO, TIME NOMMER WAS EGGDIDDLES THE WHOLE TIME!," but I want something more threatening and stuff I didn't see coming. I know Eggman is supposed to lose in the end always, but I'd be awesome to see him get more small victories along the way, since I think not just building crazy machines will beat Sonic, but his wit. A very small and simple example, but like how he tricked Sonic into the room to get the power sucked out of the chaos emeralds in Sonic Unleash's intro. I want more of that but on bigger scales.

So yes, I think he should get more crazy, but not mindlessly. I want a crazy genius who's calculating, so I can hear more of his over the top, insanity laughs when he finally gets something right, XD.

If Eggman was afforded small victories over Sonic then SEGA would whine about it. Don't believe me? When Ian Flynn wanted Eggman to win in #175, SEGA would only allow it as long as Sonic won in the next issue - this means that his victories aren't encouraged unless it's some sort of sports title where you control the character and even then Eggman is pelted in the face with a tennis ball in the intro. I honestly find this sad as seeing Sonic lose makes him more of a well-built character in my eyes than knowing that he will always win no matter what - the victories seem fake and handed to him like a plastic trophy. What happened to the struggle and the turmoil that comes with earning it?

But I digress. Small victories like kicking Sonic out of the spacecraft after sucking him clean of his junkie juice Chaos Emeralds made me happy, knowing that perhaps the tables can be turned even if it took two decades to make it happen.

It would be pretty cool to get some kind of boss where you beat it with speed or the chaos emeralds or something and then after it's defeat Eggman reveals that your battle was being used to power up something even worse that he then (temporarily or whatever) defeats Sonic or does some major damage with.

Let's see.

From Sonic 1 to Sonic Adventure 2, Eggman was a serious terrorist, who was eccentric though. After SA2, Eggman sweetened a bit and became less crual.

Er, that's all.

His attraction park in Colors surprises you ? He had a couple ones in Shadow The Hedgehog, Unleashed's Eggmanland is an attaction park, and Adventure's Egg Carrier shows Eggman actually likes casinos and attraction parks.

Eggman hasn't gotten crazier. He's gotten a bit less evil and doesn't bother hiding his eccentricity anymore.

Oh no! Eggman and his badniks are back to a life of crime. This time, it's not Sonic World — it's your world! From his Antarctic secret base, Eggman hustles his metallic crew of cantankerous eggbots into his powerful Passcode Operated Remote Transport And Larceny System(PORTALS). The twisted mechas transport themselves throughout the globe, where celebrated cities suffer shell-shocking crime waves, as Motobugs trash landmarks and Sandworms loot ancient artifacts. With dough through his plotting hands, Eggman hoards hair dryers from the Hafta-Havit Hotline. His plot? Melt Antarctica and flood the world! Whoa!

Sonic's Fate

Will the brave brotherly duo from Mobius permit this abominable snow plan? The boys say "Not!" Sonic, Tails and the Tornado trek across ice and snow to stop the egg-shaped one' schemes. But Eggman's slick; in one last trick, he takes the dearest thing of all. Now Sonic is Missing!!

Tails' Mission

Tails must stop the badniks, foil the moustachioed Eggman's plan, and find Sonic. Sneaking into each Portal, Luigi is transported to a city in trouble. There, Tails needs to nab each badnik, grab its loot, and return the artifact to its proper landmark. Along the way, Tails explores the city, chats with the locals, reads maps, and solves puzzles. Help him do this before time runs out! Once he figures out where he is on the globe, Tails must use the Globulator to call the Tornado. Only after the plane scares Metal Sonic away can Tails return to Eggman's base and lock the Portal for that city!
