Guys what are you doing to me? I haven't changed my profile & that guy is not me.

Jeez. Get a grip guys!

Well your name is the same as his
And your profile does say you were born in 1980
Hypermikey1980
And you were the first person to know about him putting it on eBay
The evidence does seem to be stacking up against you

you did?

Holy crap, I didn't notice. Sorry Rawr.

It's ok Cola, I forgive you

Guys, why are you accusing him? There's no proof besides the name coincidence. :r

Jeez. Get a grip guys!

Guy named hypermikey1980 is suspected of being a fraud on another forum. A mirror topic is made here. Then suddenly another completely different guy named hypermikey comes in out of nowhere and says it's pointless to get up in arms about it and people should just get over it. You're saying that's a complete coincidence? Hahaha.

Even if it was.. Wrong place, wrong time, man. You've gone and drawn attention to yourself, Mr. HyperMikey II. If you were smart you wouldn't bother posting in this topic at all.

I think it's 8.

Thank you. And it's also interesting that hypermikey brought up the eBay giveaway. Both of their names start with "Michael"! (thank you SEGA Blog)

In that case, ladies and gents of the Sonic Stadium Member Board, I'd like to remind you all that, while the video has been ever so conveniently removed from YouTube after I posted the following on the SEGA Forum, I did take a few interesting screencaps between both hypermikey's and 1stkirbyever's videos.

Let's take a look at them both together, shall we?

Here are the first 8!

Guys, why are you accusing him? There's no proof besides the name coincidence. :r

But it's not like Hypermikey is a common internet name like inferno
and the fact he knew about the auction before anybody else

Should someone be setting up some kind of bonfire with a stake in it over on the village square, or are you gonna dunk him in water and see if he floats?

Wait, he put it up on auction?
So, let me get this straight. He not only STOLE footage of Skykirby's run and used it for himself to win a contest, but now he's putting it up on auction to get money!? Isn't that like, breaking the law!?

This is ridiculous. I suggest everyone move on from accusing me & get back to the actual topic, because some people are making themselves look like dicks here (& no I don't mean me, I've done nothing wrong but post in this topic) I thought I was being helpful posting his ebay auction, but I guess not.

On the other hand, hypermikey here is apparently in Worchester whereas the eBay auction is in London. On the hand again, how do we even know that eBay auction is the same guy?....couldn't it just be a random auction for one of them? The description doesn't say about the origins of the statue.

Just sayin'

Since the statue is unrecoverable, then that's simply a tragic circumstance of this entire fiasco. But Sega should still pony up something for the original person. I can only imagine how mad I'd be if someone not only stole my work, but actually won limited edition merchandise off of it.

No words for hypermikey's sheer lack of integrity, though.

But isn't accusing you what this topic is about? I mean, the evidence is there. Inferno and Cola can be rather common internet names, but Hypermikey isn't.

He's getting money by pretty much stealing somebody elses work.

He's getting money by pretty much stealing somebody elses work.

SEGA gave it to him so it's his property. He can sell it if he wants.
