A big big yes on removing the image from the shipping box. It's just dumb to advertise whats in the box, no matter the project.

The shipping box is really cool, cause it displays the product and the number. That's also why it's painfully stupid.

BUMP!

Payment notification for Metal Sonic in EUR is going out in the next couple of days (went out a little while ago for the Americas), so they'll charge and ship it in the next couple of weeks. Hooray!

I've had to cancel my order for this because I'm moving to the US in a couple of months and can't really afford such lovely extravagances as this any more. :(

^ Lame. Though, moving is perhaps slightly a lot more important.

I just mentioned on FB that they didn't have any Metal Sonic army pics. Half an hour later...

Dr Eggmans badnik processing lab isn't as advanced as I thought it would be.

Anyway, great news that we might actually be getting these sometimes soon, I can't believe that it's been a year since they first went on pre-order.

A year to the day, right? Blimey. I hope we don't have to go through this ordeal with Knuckles, Modern Sonic and everyone else.

I just had an email from F4F.

My name is Kanako Davis from First4Figures.com. We will be charging your credit card for this order on the 5th of January 2012 (UK time).

Thank you so much for your patience.

It was a lot longer than that, but thats the important bit... they're coming!

Questions for the people that ordered directly.

1. How much did you pay for metal? I've ordered mine off Play.com and still says release of 27th. So dunno if i should order direct next time for Knuckles.
2. Can you get hit by custom charges by ordering direct? Dont fancy forking out an extra £30 >.<

1. For Metal Exclusive (light-up), it's £134 including postage. For regular it'll be more like £120. If you're only interested in the regular versions it's definitely worth buying from Play.com (or another site) because you save shit loads of money.
2. Nope. They have US, Australian and European warehouses.

Hmm, is the ordering available for Knuckles? Or is that going to be awhile?

Scratch that. Knuckles looks cool but spending $180 dollars on a statue is just way too much for me.

I'd do it for classic Tails possibly because... well come on, how can you say no to that face?

If you pre-order a figure from F4F site, do they charge your card right away, or wait until they are going to ship?

Not sure about NA and AUS folk, but for those in the UK (and presumably the rest of Europe), the statue is shipping this week/early next week in F4F time. We might see it by Christmas if we're lucky. Just got this email from Kanako:

Hi Alexander,

Thank you for your payment. I have received it. We are going to ship the figure this week to early next week.

Thank you for your patience.

Kind regards,

Kanako Davis

I had an email about an hour ago saying that the card I used was declined for some reason.

Changed the card to something else... only now I'm not as happy as I was 24 hours ago.

if its who i think it is, he's the guy that spent £1100+ on that 20th Anniversary Statue since i knew the person who sold him it and i remember reading his feedback he left behind, so he clearly has more money than sense...

also judging by the actual size of Metal, Super & Classic to the 20th Anniversary Statue... there seems to be a huge scaling problem... and here i was thinking Modern was Taller than Classic haha.

Goddamn! That's insanity. I can appreciate a good collection, but not when I know the loony spent an arm and a leg to amass it.

Nope. I know some Spanish and at the end of the video he says he won it in some competition.

yeah i agree 100%, i mean i've spent some crazy money on some items in my collection, but not THAT crazy!

i somehow doubt it, he fits the description perfectly, and when someone asks where you got the statue from, you really don't want to say "oh, i spent over a grand on it!" but i could be wrong, but i have my suspicions!
