What?!Where's the dlc? And again this should go in the generations area. Plus games do that. that's how dlc goes. It adds more content. Would you rather have what's there only?

You mean your copy of the game was missing all of the levels? Huh, that's weird. I'd be upset too if I bought a game and it lacked levels!

But seriously... I don't think this needs a topic. Also, there's a thread just for Sonic Generations in the Upcoming Games section.

I don't think you quite grasp just how much effort has gone into making the levels that exist right now. Each of the 9 stages, both classic and modern are enormous. Try to get many more levels out before release then you'd be overworking your staff.

The number of stages that exist is perfectly fair, given how large each stage is geometrically. DLC for additional stages is perfectly reasonable. Its not easy to pump out stages like these.

You should know I wouldn't make a topic like this, I'm a Grammar Nazi. :P

(No offence Gamerrang, though your (my) avatar may cause a little confusion ;) )

Seriously though, I'm more than happy with the level content in Generations. It's not exactly on par with games like Rayman, but it'll do.

So let's see now. You paid $50 for the game and you are moaning about value for money. Alrighty then let's have a look at that.

$50 / playable levels in generations.

Levels in generations = (9*2) + 7 (boss/rival stages) = 25

25 * 2 (hard mode) = 50... So $50 / 50 levels = $1 per level.

And that doesn't include pre order dlc Which would mean your total would be... 98cents per stage.

And because I'm on my mobile I can't check this. But to the 50 stages add all the missions then divide it by $50... Then if you want to be really petty... Add all the stages again for the time attack mode trophy...

Of course factor in the unlockable content as freebies too all....

At which stage in this sum did you decide you had been ripped off?

Um only rivals and bosses have a hard mode. Stages don't.

Well I am on the mobile so can't check too much... But either way

7*2 + 18 = 32 stages. / 50 = $1.66 per stage. I bet if you did the same thing for some other sonic titles you'd get a similar sum.
