As per SSMB tradition, this thread is for what you get for the Holidays? Post what items you got and how much money you got.

Damn near nothing aside from some money from my relatives. Then again, I did get a Bluray player and a flat screen from my Dad, so i guess that counts.

In our house, we have an unusual way of present opening; there's an initial opening of presents from a sack, and then later we get to open the presents around the tree downstairs. It's great because I get a double dose of unwrapping fun every year. The catch? The initial part can't be engaged in until after 6am at the earliest. Not that I mind nowadays, since I have a laptop to pass the time to wait.

As such, I haven't opened any yet. I know what two items I'm expecting though, and there's also this giant mofo of a present I wasn't expecting at all. I'll probably do a 'write-as-you-open' thing as well.

PARENTS ASLEEP, POST PRESENTS.

So, a minute by minute commentary!

-Huh, this sack is fuller than it was last year. Unexpected.
-First official present of Christmas 2011; Terry's chocolate orange. Yay.
-Pink Smarties tube (I don't like pink. :/).
-Milkybar Polar Bear.
-Two chocolate coin bags, one milk, one white.
-A little Thorntons Santa.
-A pack of Jazzies.
-Munchies tube.
-Rowntree's Pick'n'Mix tube. It's never Christmas without a Rowntree's tube. :)
-Nestle chocolate tray.
-Both Pokemon: Emerging Powers decks (already have the Krookodile deck, but not the Scolipede deck).
-A figure playset of the Nightmare Before Christmas (Oh hell yes! Especially since this now exposes the fact that I was at risk of getting doubles for the equivalent Alice in Wonderland set since they know I adore that Disney film too).
-Rayman Origins (PS3). Whoop.
-The Second Book of General Ignorance.
-A walkthrough of Skylanders; Spyro's Adventure (since I don't own the game myself, this hints at just one thing...).
-A 2012 calendar of Lizards (since when the fuck were calendars that niche...ah, who cares? D'AWWWW! :3).
-A Pokemon cushion.
-A Pokemon (Arceus) fleece blanket.
-A Pokemon beach towel (haven't been to the beach in years).
-Pokemon bed linen (Okay I get the message. :/).
-A homemade keychain from Beaverbrooks. The jewellery pieces look quite nice on this thi...wait a sec, do I spot a Sonic worthy of derp?! Why, I do! They handmade a Sonic accessory!
-A woolly black scarf.
-A strange anthro sheep decoration.
-Framed 3D Super Mario poster. It's bawss.

That's all for now, but there's more to come later!

I didn't ask for anything so this is what I've ended up with so far

Clothes
Money

and that's probably it actually, there isn't anything in particular that I just had to have, except maybe a new coat. :\

Haven't got to the tree yet, there just happened to be some presents that were left in my parents' bedroom.

-Two melody pops. I was unaware that toot sweets actually existed in some form.
-Gorillaz: The Singles Collection.
-A blob thing which looks like a soot sprite, but weirder.
