After years of clamoring (actually we like to think it is just so we can have an incentive to do a dramatic posthumous revival to blow people's minds) we're proud to announce the restoration of an old function some long-timers might remember from before the massive server wipe of 2009; namely the Badges function.

What is this you may ask? It was a rather fun function Staff used to hand out certain member accomplishments for special events. At certain times they were annual, such as giving out Christmas badges to everyone, but mostly these things are distinguished by participation in certain events or for some specific milestone. Consider this a bit of an incentive for people to work harder within the community, if you will.

Right now this is still in a bit of a beta phase as we're giving out a few based on recent events. The ones for now include having made banners for The Sonic Stadium, but also the recently established Generations Speedrunning Tournament, where all finalists and winners of their respective era have been given their awards accordingly.

"But Carbo, I want to have awards as well".

In that case, humor me.



Look at how glum Sonic is. He's in need of a facelift. Or better yet, give him some new clothes altogether. Some members might remember this fun little activity was had as well before the server wipe. We got some fun results out of it. Let's do this again.

The rules to get this specific award: Edit, draw and add onto this Sonic picture, add clothes or the like, and post the results in this topic. Doing so will get you an award. You may use any software of your choice, there are no specifics here. Just have fun and do something cool out of this.

EDIT: Btw, is there any chance we can get Alt Text for the badges? Will be nice to know the origins of unfamiliar ones.
