If this means anything, then I'm pretty sure that the block is just called "Toonami".

Well, today's the day folk. Toonami is airing so soon. I can't wait. Here's hoping it's just as great as before. Once again, remember to spread the word of Toonami's revival and encourage everyone you know to tune in every Saturday night. Hell, they don't even have to look at it. just tell them, if they don;t like it, to just have it play on one TV in the house and do something else in the meantime. As long as it gets ratings.

It's exciting and kind of nerve racking. I'm so happy that we're going to see Toonami again tonight. But I am extremely nervous about the ratings. We all know Toonami's not a failed experiment destined for destruction so let's prove it!

It's going to be good to have you back, TOM.

I'm hoping people are able to put their grievances with the line-up aside and keep up their end of the bargain. True, it's not the best, but Adult Swim's explained the situation clearly enough so I hope the community that's been reminiscing about it and begging for this thing to come back doesn't sink it simply because they want don't want to watch Bleach. I can only imagine the amount of grief AS even had to go through to get this far in the first place; our part in this is comparatively effortless.

Toonami's official page on Adult Swim's site has been updated with the line-up. You can click on the show to go to their official pages on the site.

Guys, I am not upset with the line-up...except Bleach, but that was inevitable. I am just saying that Deadman Wonderland makes Paranoia Agent look like Sailor Moon.

Paranoia Agent was more fucked up then outright dark.

I have no problem with the line up, Bleach is a guilty pleasure for me, and I'm not adverse to watching new anime either. So its all good for me.

No one said you were upset with the line-up, Turbojet.

I wonder how dark Casshern Sins is. It sounds pretty dark though nowhere near as dark as Deadman Wonderland sounds. Here's hoping the new Tom voiced promos for these shows are really good.

Just letting people know I never meant to call anyone here out; rather I was speaking to a general sentiment I've seen across the web concerning some level of disappointment with the line-up. Regardless of our feelings on the shows being broadcast, I'm simply hoping the Toonami fandom can come through again.

And let's be honest, nostalgia was the main motivator behind toonami. I like it for what it is, in addition to the nostalgia. Some people seem to forget the purpose of Toonami is introducing people to Anime.

How many people have watched Deadman Wonderland? Because I rank that slightly below Berserk (manga) in terms of being dark and jacked up.

A kid being framed for a massacre and is sentence to a survival/amusement park deathgame to fight for his survival as a collar attached to his neck injects poison in him on a regular basis as part of a "death sentence"? And that's before we get to the part where he controls his own blood.

EDIT: Oh and you will absolutely LOOVVEE Deadman Wonderland's intro. Here, let me show you just to save you time.

At this point I'm just happy that it's back. I still don't have any way of watching it, (no cable atm, but I plan to get either that or satellite in the coming months) so if I can I'll watch some streams. I'll still feel sorta guilty though.

Wait... I may not be the smartest tool in the shed, but that summary reminds me of Hunger Games. I'm just saiyan. It's probably very different, but your summary makes me think of it.

Oh it's FAR different from Hunger Games. The summary may make it sound similar, but it's a whole level darker and sadistic in atmosphere.

....Nobody's forcing to watch Bleach man, there's nothing stopping you from just skipping a half an hour and then just going straight to P&S.

Anything is better than having Naruto at this point (and I like Bleach). In fact I don't know If I'd be more disgusted if Naruto aired or the certain tag of this thread which does not represent Toonami well.

Sorry I was too busy slitting the throat of reason and reality. That is without a doubt one of my favorite intros ever. Few more hours sirs and madams, and we see our old pal back in action... on welfare, but back in action! :D
