Oh god. D: You just know sooner or later some git is going to try selling their ticket/s on eBay once all the waves have passed. D:

Yeah I think people will be keeping an eye out on that, as well as encouraging people not to place fake bids of 10 billion quid just to ruin that ebay sellers day.

Although from what Mr B has said with regards to tickets this year, I think they all did indeed go to genuine guests.

They can't re-sell them anyway. You need I.D on the door to the event so anybody with a ticket they bought from eBay wouldn't be allowed in.

I was stunned on how quick the tickets went! I thought it was a technical error at first, but nope, it's perfectly legitimate. Sadly I didn't make it in time, but fingers crossed for the next wave I will.

I don't blame the organizers though since there's a massive demand this year and congrats to all who did make it and I'm gutted for those who didn't. But, I'm happy that the event is growing in popularity.

So I managed to get a ticket! Which means I'll definetly be in attendance this year! Hannah won't be joining me this time though, sadly, as she has an event to go to.

I'm curious as to what happens for people who don't have either a passport or a driving license when it comes to being IDed on the door. I have both, but I look nothing like either of them, hahahahah.

I've seen some videos of past SoS's on Youtube..you UK peeps look like you have an awesome time! wish I could go, but unfortunately I don't have the funds I need to go. Oh, well..there's always next year I guess.

I have neither. I'd assume any form of ID is fine (this includes Bank Statements btw, if you are comfortable bringing those.)

Don't bring bank statements. You don't want anyone reading those. You'd keep them safe, or burn them in a fire than risk chucking it in the bin incase someone digs them up.

Chin up people, wave 2 is coming! I would imagine it will be much slower than wave 1, so you will hopefully have some time to submit for your tickets. B'man, Dread and the knome army are working hard to make sure that none of the tickets submitted are false, or duplicated etc...so there will likely be over 400 tickets available for the next wave.

With regards to ID - children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian, so they will be expected to produce some form of ID. Everyone else should have some of their own ID, whether a bank card, drivers licence etc, young person's travel card etc...

Question - I have no problem in the ID department, as I have both a driver's license, and a passport.

The issue I have is that I look nothing like either of them any more. One was me with long hair and glasses at about 15 years old, and one was me with very short hair and glasses at about 18 or so. I don't wear glasses any more and the pictures on both are lousy.
