NiGHTS' presence in a lot of games is a clear prove of his/her popularity, and she/he's one of the most fan favourites. So there's no point to create useless assumptions about NiGHTS having appeared too many times. Not including the character in ASR simply started a gigantic fan war

And i was fine about it being as a flag waver... I mean sheesh! how much more do you even want from me at this point.. May i even ask... name one other character that you think could majorly possibly be a playable in the sequel besides NiGHTS (who will be in itas a playable anyway)? Or a list of characters with reasons why? Its just I am just a bit worried you know?

ok then, there is a huge list of characters that I want, and the Number 1 would have ben Ryo Hazuki, but he's already in, so...

NiGHTS
Ristar
Toejam & Earl

these 3 are quite obvious, as they are the most requested. I personally love NiGHTS, and appreciate Ristar. T&E are just fine for me

then I'd like to see

Bayonetta
Jiro Musashi (3DS Shinobi)
Jack Cayman

these 3 sort of represent the modern SEGA games (except Jiro, who is Joe's son), and personally I find Bayonetta very interesting

Dear BlueHedgehog92, I am sorry ok? Maybe it was because I was worried about the whole (Thought on the April fools) you said.. Sorry if I took a bit bad to it. It's because I know Ristar will be a playable eventually.. I just hope they don't forget Ristar like they did with Nights from the last one (even though as a flag waver, which is at least better than no apperance) But at least hopefully both as playables to be fair. And maybe it's because I was a bit tired, and the fact i worried a bit.. But still, to everyone here, andBH92. I am sorry...

P.S. I do think your list was very well.. Its not because of Ristar, because some of them are the ones i would like to see. The 3 Most Requested Playables (dont need to say it..), (maybe) Bayonetta, Jiro Mushuai, Arle & Carbuncle, Chaotix, Blaze the Cat, Gilius, and Vyse.

But for the last one.... Maybe Kid Chameleon, or Sir Pepper as a playable..

You know what I want?

A sega carnival type stage, and at the finish line is a grandstand, in the grandstand, tons of old Sega characters, just sat there cheering as you cross the finish line.

That would make a lot of people smile, not to mention subtly say 'we've not forgotten about them'... and if they're all wearing 70's trousers would be a huge bonus.

And you all wonder why i somehow dont like to talk about Nights at all.. Because you all realize It appeared alot more than anyone else did.. Its just there is many other franchises that never appeared in it as playables since years.. and yet your askin for one character that appear alot more.. I dont hate the franchise.. Its just how can i believe this post. You all just ignore Ristar saying, Oh its obvious.. And yet you ask for Nights saying like, Nights needs to appear in! Even though, with so many requests about it, dont you think it could possibly happen by any minute from it all? And all i wanna do is to make Ristar as a playable since he was a cameo, and it would be awesome to see him as a playable, since its been like 17 years since from the only game. And dont you think Ristar desevres to be a playable? I would.. So, we need to try to make Ristar a playable before its too late.

UPD: I am still sorry for my stupid self from yesterday, and also.. i will be ok with Nights in its sequel.. But its just bothers a bit... I am only in hopes for Ristar only for now on.

I don't care for ristar because I've never played his games there for I know nothing about him nor care. Nights, Beat and more of the others I do. But Banjo is NOT SEGA. So Banjo can burn in gaming hell alongside Duke Nukem and Sonic 06. (BTW i've never liked that thing)

Now that is HARSH. Nuts and Bolts wasn't what anyone wanted but it was not on par with Duke or 2006. Banjo-Kazooie was one of the finest platformers ever made. You respect your elders young man.



That said yeah this is a SEGA game so I really wouldn't care if he's back or not. I wouldn't be getting the 360 version anyhow.

Seeing people bash Banjo gives me that feeling of my internal organs slowly burning away.

My top pick would be Dynamite Headdy, even if he is a third party character. Factually the greatest mascot character to come out forever.

If I got to pick a third-party character...I'd pick Rayman, I think he would fit with the universe very well. That would be fucking epic.

I know there are already a lot of sonic characters, and I'm not a big fan of the riders series, but jet would probably be a perfect character for this game.

He could race with a miniature of the Babylon rogues blimp, and in his all start move he could hop int his board and with wave and storm behind him they would hit other opponents with their weapons from the first riders game.

This is just an idea, but I would prefer seeing nights or ristar or baynetta instead of him. But you never know, there were some surprises on the last game...

Well Sketch Turner could work.. But depends if its a lucky pick. I do think we need more genesis franchises (Ristar, and Toejam and Earl are one of them).. At least more would be a bit nice. I can see like only 11 playables at this point for a major reason...

2 Sonic Playables + 3 Most Requested Characters (Nights, Ristar, and Toejam and Earl), and 6 Random Sega/Sonic Team IPs


Ristar (Do wish for him to be playable.. But you already know me about its topic.)
Toejam and Earl (Well, could be cool to see them return, they were planned twice, but lets hope the creator can set it in plan)
Nights (It will be a playable.... trust me people)
Arle and Carbuncle (at least to add in a Puyo Puyo rep in ASR2)
gilius Thunderhead (would be awesome to see him return as a playable, and to at least keep its IP still ok)
Bayonetta or Jiro Mushuai (Well.. it depends..)
Kid Chameleon or Sketch Turner (Well, depends on which could be better to add)
Vyse (Probably part of the Top 5 Most Requested playables for ASR2, And maybe to be the last Dreamcast IP member)
and Segata Sanshiro (of course...)
