There you go America you don't have the biggest fatty we do! Posted Image

(Seven quote) John Doe: "An obese man... a disgusting man who could barely stand up; a man who if you saw him on the street, you'd point him out to your friends so that they could join you in mocking him; a man, who if you saw him while you were eating, you wouldn't be able to finish your meal".

Seirously why don't they try and stop him from eating copus amounts of shite. Its terrible that people have let him become this large, alarms bells should of been rining after his mother died. You should always watch somebody who has tragically lost a love one, people react to death in differents some better than others.

Que fat jokes.

Obligatory callous response:

Mr Martin is one of a million Britons who have developed the lethal condition which was triggered following the death of his mother.

Who the hell was his mother that her death caused a million people to become obese?

Sorry Gilda, but physics disagrees with you. v = sqrt(2gh), the mass is irrelevant. Frankly his size would do more in terms of air-resistance making him considerably slower than an average individual.

Beyond that, its quite sad that people do this to themselves. I'm fairly pudgy myself, but if I got past a certain point my self-consiousness would start to kick in to revert back to normal.

Its a bit of a surprise, I honestly thought the title would go to someone in the U.S or Mexico.

I think this is where a snarky remark about the British being "so superior to America" is supposed to go.

This is absolutely sad. As I used to be very obese, I can feel the misery of being very fat. But I've NEVER been anywhere close like what this man must be going through. It just pains me to see him going through this turmoil.

The story is absolutely heartbreaking, and I really hope he gets better and better soon! Posted Image

Exactly. Instead of mocking the man, calling him "disgusting" (seriously, no human being ever deserves to be called that), we should feel sorry for him and hope for a recovery. He obviously is in dire need of counseling.

Oh, and BTW, the world's richest man is Mexican.

I can't imagine having to be like that. If I were that obese, I wouldn't be on television.
I've always been really worried about what people think of me, and I would never be able to deal with the shame. That poor man.

He could always get surgery to remove all that fat.

Well, it would end up costing TONS of $$ but he could start over his life.

Even with all the pretty funny fat jokes, I must say that I feel really sorry for this guy. One of my fears is being fat, even though I'm a little chubby. I just can't imagine what it's like for this guy. Here's hoping he is able to get rid of that fat.

We should mine him for meat. We could solve world hunger by raising thousands of giganto-fatties and harvesting them.

Seriously though, that he managed to gain that much weight is just... sad. It's a wonderful thing that he has so many caring, giving, loving, dedicated people there trying to keep him alive.

800 pounds? Good lord. How does that even happen? Yeah, yeah "he ate too much". But seriously, how the hell does this even happen? HOW? I don't get it. It doesn't compute! It's nice that there are people taking care of him but, they need to do more than just sit around and wait for something bad to happen. They need to be proactive and remove at least SOME of that weight.

They've got special...methods of dealing with that. He probably doesn't leave his bed when he does it.

Pretty much this.

Even if the people in his life look like they're caring for him, somebody should have intervened sooner. This is horrific.
