It's time for another Nintendo Direct show, only this time it's from Nintendo Japan, Nintendo of America AND Nintendo Europe. This makes me wonder if Nintendo plans on revealing some big and significant news, especially as they're doing these videos on the day Sony's PS Vita launches.

Nintendo Japan: 11am GMT
Nintendo of America: 2pm GMT
Nintendo Europe: 12pm GMT

I'm guessing New Super Mario Bros. 3D will be announced and not much else.

Nintendo cock blocks Sony, news at 11! Posted Image

But seriously, I hope it's some 3DS news, I don't own one but if they can make a cool announcement to get me to buy one later (much later).

One hopes that it might detail the exact WiiU launch line-up and such, however I expect it'll be something vaguely disappointing.

I just want them to get me hyped up for what they've got planned.

Reggie Fils-Aime has confirmed that Nintendo will share more information about Wii U between now and E3.

Speaking with CNN, Nintendo's US boss said "Wii U will launch some time between E3 - which is in June - at the end of the year so essentially the second half of the year. We haven't announced pricing and we haven't announced specific details. We'll share more information between now and E3 and after E3."

Based on that, I'd assume its Wii-U related. *fingers crossed for a name change*

I hope they reveal a 1st party game for the Wii U. I doubt it'll be anything super-awesome (if they announce whatever Retro's making, I'll shit bricks of gold), but some 1st party game would be nice.

Reggie has actually been sending out messages using Swapnote to tell fans of the news, which I find to be pretty cool

That is horrific, yet so hilarious at the same time.

I really hope Nintendo announce a game featuring this...abomination masterpiece.

Frankly I expect plenty of disappointment, but if we luck out it will hopefully be news of some actually interesting Wii U games, since it seems to be lacking in those and I would like it to be launched like the 3DS with NOGAEMS.

Yeah I don't expect anything that will interest me. Maybe a Pokemon for 3DS or something but I haven't bothered with that series since the original gold and silver. It would be cool to see that new Mario 3DS though.

You know, they could finally be announcing release dates for games we've been waiting for. Dat Paper Mario, for instance.

My wife will be happy if they finally give a release date for that Animal Crossing game.

I expect this to be more centered on the 3DS more than anything. Still, it wouldn't surprise me if they tease a Wii U presence at GDC.

Dat Paper Mario, Mario Tennis and Luigi's Mansion 2 release date plz.

Why do I feel like, its an annoucement of (Some Mii game) or something stupid that isn't the "main" games Nintendo love to dish out. If its anything Mario, Metroid or anything related (Even Wii U stuff that is NEW to us and not old news) ill be excited then.

This is probably going to be a huge anticlimax.

I actually have faith. This event last year did provide us the announcement of Super Mario 3DLand and a new trailer for Skyward Sword. It was actually a bit better than I expected, but industry talk mildly interests me anyway.

So we can expect a couple of trailers, then? Is that it? If Pokémon's involved, it had best not just be that Grey one they've got in the works, that'd be a huge disappointment.
