Pet peeve, but I hear this said quite a lot. Here's a quote from the Bayonetta manual:

Come to think of it, the rightmost chromosome looks KINDA like Sam Gideon, but not enough that I'd put a bet on it.

The one on the right side of Capcom kind of makes me think of Jill Valentine's RE1 outfit.



Some are also claiming the top-right links them to Super Robot Wars, but it isn't doing that for me.

It's probably SRW-related in gameplay only, rather than the setting. Banpresto are known for making crossover SRPGs, especially SRW.

I'm fine seeing him in crossovers and stuff because he is the icon of the series, but I hope he doesn't get too whored out. And they completely screwed up his characterization in DR2: Off The Record. Thank god that was non-canon.

Also not too keen on Zero being the representative of Mega Man again I know he's popular but there's so much more to the franchise than him. Then again, I'm not a fan, I guess it's just me.

Regardless of what happens here, I still want SEGA vs Capcom as the next Capcom crossover fighter (Probably won't happen, but I can dream).

I have high hopes for this if it's a crossover. I've never played one, but I've only heard good things about the Super Robot Wars games. Good original characters. Excellent usage of the source materials, good mixes of music and popular fixes and changes to characters.

Assuming it is a crossover RPG, this will be a surefire reason for me to get a 3DS if it gets localized

The center one from Sega kinda looks like Alex Kid. I suspect they might be keeping the Mega man/Pac-Man/Sonic type characters out of it to keep them from dominating the rest of the cast. Of course, the way the Japanese game industry is going, I half expect the Sega side to be made up of Moe-ed versions of those characters from those rather unfortunate newer "Shining" games.

I'm hoping that isn't 100% accurate on the grounds of lack of Sonic. Then again, I'm pretty sure more will be revealed down the road (and yes I know it's speculation).

If what they showed so far is 100% for whatever reason, it's still interesting nonetheless

Can't wait for the megaman fans to combine with the Sonic fans when they say that there is no Sonic or Megaman.(or pacman) But yeah, Bayonetta! Oh and no Ryu in sight! Hope jill isn't the only RE character.

I wasn't really harping on it. I'm fine with them wanting to show off other characters. I'm just sayin if Sonic or Megaman don't make the cut expect a lot of complaining from the crazies.

I hope we get some valkyria chronicles characters.
