Jet Set Radio looks like it's on its way to XBLA and PSN! At last!

Cannot. Wait. Anyone else excited?

Just realised I could have accidentally predicted this a few days before this news broke!

Awww, I thought this was a new game or something. :( Even with a port, I'd probably still prefer to play it on my Dreamcast. I dunno, only time will tell. Still, it's cool that they're at least doing this, I guess.

This is a little embarassging guys, I've uh... never actually played Jet Set Radio. Yes it's horrible, I KNOW.

I know I should be ashamed of myself. Hopefully putting it on XBLA will give me a chance to finally play it.

Much as I adore JSR, I'm expecting this to be a really terrible port that won't beworth my time for the price SEGA will charge. Oh and what's the bet lots of the soundtrack will be missing?

Well now's your chance! It's a fantastic game... probably my favorite Dreamcast game, actually.

I hope they add some new stuff for this release. Doesn't have to be anything major... it would just be nice.

I should probably pick up the original sometime - and a new DC controller.

I've played Jet Grind Radio, found it kind of boring, but I hear Jet Set Radio is a lot better. I might check it out if there's a demo version :U

Come now. Crazy Taxi was great. Daytona was great. Sonic CD was great. The chance exists that the days of the Sonic Adventure PSN port are behind us.

Jet Grind Radio = Jet Set Radio.

Yeah, that's the only thing that's worrying me...it being a shitty port.

Like Gilda said though, Crazy Taxi and the like were decent ports, so there's still hope!

I'm really happy for the port, but I'm still waiting for a new game.

I have a lot of time to wait ahead of me....

Jet Grind Radio = Jet Set Radio.

I figured as much, I was just saying that's what I've heard.

It might have been the fact that I find the Dreamcast controller very uncomfortable to use, so I'll try it if there's a demo regardless of previous experiences.

All of the DC ports are on Steam so far, so I hope this ones not different. JSR is the one game I actually WANT to play compared to Space Channel 5 or Crazy Taxi. And I already own Sonic Adventure, sooooo

For those who haven't played I will just say one thing that no-one ever said before I indulged in the original.

The controls are as clunky as fuck. Seriously. Mentally prepare yourself for a steep difficulty curve at the start while you get used to the way the characters handle.

Give it an hour though and this game is sublime. I hope we get HD, shorter load times, widescreen and as much of the soundtrack as possible. Won't this presumebly be the first time Japanese players will get to play the levels set in America too (assuming they're porting the western version)?
