I get it. The ending of Black/White heavily hinted at a sequel. I don't remember the exact details, something about Ghetsis being on the loose. Looks like Black/White's stellar story will go beyond one game.
Holy Crap, I totally forgot about that! Oh man, I am officially pumped for these games now. Wonder what plan Ghetsis is gonna cook up this time.

It's unlikely, but maybe we'll see some new pokemon in B2/W2?
New forms yes, new Pokémon? I don't think so.

Also, I theorize that somewhere near the final battle, N will offer the legendary he attained in the original game (Zekrom in Black, Reshiram in White) to merge with your Kyurem to defeat Ghetsis/whoever else could be the main villain

So could it be possible that we'll be heading to an entirely new region for the sequel, with access to Unova ala Gold and Silver?
Also, I theorize that somewhere near the final battle, N will offer the legendary he attained in the original game (Zekrom in Black, Reshiram in White) to merge with your Kyurem to defeat Ghetsis/whoever else could be the main villain
You and N teaming up to beat Ghetsis (and new villain).
I hope this happens.

As a person with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, this sudden break in tradition irritates me.
Well the makers of pokemon did say they were gonna start fresh with gen 5. But the sudden break in tradition makes their statement all the more stronger.

Well, Black 2 Version and White 2 Version would sound really awkward. The EU and US titles don't make them sound like sequels at all. Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2, really?

The latter seems less likely since it doesn't follow the traditional progression style unless our old protagonists pull an Ash Ketchum and go to a new region and start anew.
There's so many questions.
Are we still in Unova or a different region?
New protagonists or same?
Will the story even pick up from where the originals left it?
So with the US title using the word "Version" inbetween, does this mean this just may be expansion DLC on a seprate cartridge?
What? All the games are 'X' Version.
This is 'Black/White Version' 2

No, the games have always been officially named "Pokemon _____ Version". They're just keeping the title the same and adding a number.

Exactly. I don't get why people seem to just be now noticing this.

Lol adult Red and Blue, and maybe profoundly older Kanto Gym Leaders. The thought of it is great.

Some people are confused that there are more Pokémon games than Red and Blue, I don't think there's any point worrying about confusing people where Pokémon is concerned.

Right!
So rather than saying Pokemon Black / Version 2, you'd be like Pokemon Black Version / 2!
