For my 1000th post on the SSMB I get to announce stuff I'm trying to get rid of to stop myself being penniless. Hooray!

It was recommended I put up a topic anyway, so a few things will be going up every day for a while, some Sonic related, some SEGA related and some not video game related at all. I won't bother you with the latter ones obviously.

First up on eBay:

Sonic Rush Adventure - Mini MAGLITE Torch
http://www.ebay.co.u...6#ht_500wt_1413

Posted Image

As seen at Summer of Sonic and practically no where else! You're probably more familiar with the "Sonic skull and crossbones" t-shirt created for the SEGA game Sonic Rush Adventure on the Nintendo DS.

A series of other items were created as well for a series of 'adventure packs' via an agency of which only a few seemingly went out.

One of the items was this black Mini MagLite torch featuring the same logo, its in perfect working condition complete with case and two AAA batteries.

Sonic Heroes - Promotional T-Shirt (Size Large)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150768031946

Posted Image

A t-shirt created for the promotion of SEGA's Sonic Heroes title back in 2004.
Featuring the logo and signature tricolour stripes of the game.
I've never seen another one of these, so best of luck!

Additional SEGA Items:

HOTD Overkill T-Shirt
http://www.ebay.co.u...7#ht_500wt_1413

There's also a couple of other bits on there, tomorrow will be Japanese manga books, SEGA and non-SEGA clothing and some other Sonic stuff... most likely.

Well I've never seen another, so the point still stands. Posted Image

Also according to my profile there are 1000 active posts... well, 1001 now. So perhaps there is a disconnect between the two numbers which would be interesting, perhaps one to raise with Bmn.

Gamestation gave the shirt out to pre-orderers in 2004. I got one from them when I bought Heroes, and another in an SoE goody bag a while afterwards.

Definitely gonna keep an eye on the torch, and I'm really digging the HotD shirt.

There most certianly is one. For instance, it says I have 850 posts on my profile, yet the sidebar says 858.

As for the merch, good luck! I'd pick some up, but I am broke as of now. and forever ;A;

Hmm, do you ship to America? I'd love to see what kind of clothing you have tomorrow (since I'm a sucker for sega clothing). Maybe I'll be interested in the Manga too.

New Sonic and SEGA items up:

Sonic & The Secret Rings - Rare Signed Print
http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=150769238424

Posted Image

Yup, I'm putting up one of the Secret Rings prints for sale. No beating about the bush on this one.

You are bidding on a rare limited print (I'm only aware of about 15 prints of different designs to have been made) created by SEGA to be given away as a promotional prize in conjunction with 2007 Wii title Sonic & The Secret Rings.

The print, capturing aspects of the cutscenes from the game in its own specific style features Sonic and "genie of the ring" Shahra and is signed by Yojiro Ogawa, SONIC TEAM member, Producer, Director AND Game Designer for the title.

It's in perfect condition, it just needs a new home!

Nexxxxt!

Sonic The Hedgehog Comic: Knuckles The Echidna #4 - Original Page Art
http://www.ebay.co.u...5#ht_500wt_1413

Posted Image

You are bidding on an original comic page art from KNUCKLES THE ECHIDNA issue #4: "Lost Paradise - The Phantom City". A spin-off from Archie's Sonic The Hedgehog comic line and dating from 1997.

The page features Vector The Crocodile of the Chaotix prominently in his old slimline look before the character got a major redesign for 2004's Sonic Heroes.

Writer: Ken Penders | Penciler: Manny Galan | Inker: Andrew Pepoy - his name is written on the reverse of the panel (by him presumably) for accreditation.

You very rarely come across pages of this age, and certainly not from the Knuckles series so happy bidding!

Also available:

An apparently very highly sought after

Phantasy Star 0 - Black 'Rappy' T-Shirt (Size: XL)
http://bit.ly/xDD12U

More items (including Japanese manga) available from the account.

Oh geez, you had to go and post something from Secret Rings, didn't you? >_> This could get costly...

Thank jeezus I have zero interest in that Archie page!

Sonic Chronicles - Promotional Tin (European Version)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150770478737

Posted Image

Promotional tin created by SEGA Europe in conjunction with DS game Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Botherhood made by BioWare

Marketed as a DS tin at the time, there's no way a DS would actually fit in there - however its excellent as a pencil tin or just as a piece of collectable merchandise. Top artwork is pristine as is rest of the tin except for the tiniest of dinks on the bottom left corner - though you'd have to be specifically looking to notice it.

Only other thing up today (sorry, been rather busy) has been a Battlestations: Pacific Zippo lighter.

THAT. DAMN. STATUE - #41!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/First-4-Figures-Sonic-Hedgehog-20th-Anniversary-Statue-European-Version-/150772673292?pt=UK_Toys_Creative_Educational_RL&hash=item231ac06b0c

Posted Image

Thats a picture of it at any rate. Only ever been out its packaging box for that photo - yes it comes with the packaging box.

You're bidding on a highly collectable, limited edition First 4 Figures statue commissioned by SEGA for Sonic The Hedgehog's 20th Anniversary in 2011 and were not made available for general sale. The majority were given away internally by SEGA with the odd one given away as a prize. This particular unit in question is the European/Japanese version (it has the Japanese-style Sonic 1 artwork in the item box) and is the low number of 41/900.The first photo shows what the statue looks like, however unlike previous occasions this statue has come on sale it still comes with its original shipping box with the printed artwork on the side which many people have thrown away!

The product itself has never been opened. In fact the only reason the cardboard shipping box was even opened was for the photos here and to check the internal packaging was still in perfect condition - which it is.The statues are rare and have great demand globally and their value is only set to spiral in future years - so if you're a gamer, merchandise fanatic or Sonic fan it's a great investment for the future as well as looking awesome!

Item will be sent upon receipt of payment and ideal shipping method will be used in consultation with the buyer.

Not cocking about on this one, bidding starts at £600. It's worth that and more!

Other SEGA Items:

- Virtua Fighter 10th Anniversary (PS2)

Other other items:

- Evangelion cellu club cel.
- Arkham City keyring

Two days left on a lot of the earlier stuff now, so make sure you check out the whole shebang.

Really cannot believe that your 20th Anni Statue sold for a whopping £720/$1139. Is that the highest one's sold for so far? I've seen them go for £600, but damn!

Highest price I have ever seen one go... But it -is- the US version, so I'd expect this sort of mark-up on that one.

CAVE OF WONDERS - JANUARY 2013 SALES

Expect many a fine thing to go in here whilst I try to raise money for my imminent move to Belgium (where I shall fight Adamis to the death for control of the country) for new work as a Community Manager doing... something or the other.

As such I need to dowwwwwwwwnsie a lot and that means selling off a metric tonne of merch.  The good news for you is I have lots of merch you don't see that often. So enjoy. This will be going on over the next two weeks sooo, yeah!  There'll be eBay bits and direct to SSMB bits so please bare that in mind.

Sonic The Hedgehog - Sonic & The Secret Rings Hoodie - L (Rare)

$T2eC16hHJHEE9ny2tlIGBQ5dg1wIN!~~60_57.J

Large navy blue hoodie made by SEGA as advertisement merchandise for their 2007 Nintendo Wii game Sonic & The Secret Rings (previously known in development as Sonic Wild Fire).

The hoodie is size Large, has only been worn once and is like new. Not that many were made at all - SEGA Europe had less than 20 I believe and I've never seen another appear on eBay.

It features the game logo across the back and the stylistic flame pattern found in the game on the left front breast.

$(KGrHqZ,!o!FC0WgCIHZBQ5ehGL+fQ~~60_12.J

Created by for RDP Creative in the UK for SEGA to advertise the original Yakuza game for the PS2 back in 2005.

Held in a red cardboard presentation box. These jet black chopsticks have metal tops and are branded with the Yakuza logo in red.

The idea for the branded chopsticks was revisited for Yakuza 4 but were of a much different style.

Fortunately the chopsticks do not require long periods of translation time following an uncertain appearance in the first place, and come in their original language: food.

MORE TO COME...

DAY 2:

Sonic The Hedgehog - Sonic & The Black Knight Japanese "Wobbler" Display Item

$(KGrHqV,!hcFDebvhBg(BQ5w2HmkeQ~~60_35.J

From Japan, this is an in-store display item for SEGA Wii game Sonic & The Black Knight.

Often dubbed a "wobbler" (or similar) in UK stores, the item sticks out from tills and shelf strips and bobs in mid-air to get attention.

Its rare to get Japanese display items and this is still in its original plastic sheath packaging. Not something you'll likely see again for many years.

Sonic The Hedgehog - Pale Blue Pacific T-Shirt (Large)

$(KGrHqIOKocE6w(s5zfVBQ5)ZpD)kg~~60_12.J

A size large pale blue t-shirt featuring a drawn-style Sonic The Hedgehog graphic on it.

Made by Pacific, licensed by SEGA.

60% cotton, with nice feel to the material.

New.

$T2eC16dHJHgE9n0yHDnpBQ5)nsC-iQ~~60_35.J

To not be wet takes AGES.
To be this dry takes SEGA.

Created and given to SEGA Europe personnel as part of their 2009 annual end of financial year meeting/training/party day. The towel was necessary as it involved water. So much water....

This is a rather fluffy towel - it was unused but has been given a wash for you anyway since it was in storage. Embroidered with the SEGA logo in the bottom corner.

Approx size: 4ft x 2ft

Not available through any other circumstances, owing to it being an internal event by the company.

Summer of Sonic 2009 - Art Booklet

(Ssh up. I made it and I'm IN it. I'm allowed.)

$T2eC16FHJGIE9nnWpr!cBQ5zHKN1qw~~60_12.J

13-page booklet created by SEGA for attendees of Summer of Sonic 2009, the second international cross-community Sonic The Hedgehog fanfest. That year held inside London's Brick Lane.

Showcases art from down the years.

If for some bizarre reason you want it signed by one of the two guys who wrote the intro... that could be arranged.

Aliens Vs Predator Weyland-Yutani Lanyard (SEGA)

$(KGrHqJ,!oQFCsLg-+C9BQ5zZ62pGw~~60_12.J

Created by SEGA to promote their Aliens Vs Predator shooter, developed by Rebellion.

This black lanyard features a repeating Weyland-Yutani logo: The mysterious conglomerate featured in the Aliens franchise.

$(KGrHqZ,!qgFCruy4EMHBQ5ztlwil!~~60_12.J

Promotional t-shirt given to press and community attendees at the launch of the Sonic The Hedgehog branded roller coaster ride "Sonic Spinball" at Alton Towers.

Size XL
