PeTA has been caused by what sociologists call a "brain drain". Like the Tea Party, but for hippies instead. I want to support 'em, but they apparently don't want me to. I got better ideas than them.

Yay, a fundamental misunderstanding of how obesity works! What causes weight gain is calorie packed meals, which can be made entirely of vegan foods. Meat isn't the only damn thing with calories in it. Hell, the leading cause of obesity is highly processed junk food filled with damn corn anyway.

In other news, PeTA proves that their members don't do their research before they open their pieholes.

Could you elaborate what you mean a little better please? Some of your posts are like a riddle.

The problem with obesity isn't the food. It's what you do with afterwards, like exercising, dancing, playing football, walking to school or something like that.
"BEAT OBESITY - JOIN MANCHESTER CITY",
"DON'T LET YOUR PARENTS DRIVE YOU TO SCHOOL - IT'S BOTH EMBARRASING AND MAKES YOU OBESE - WALK TO SCHOOL INSTEAD"
or something like that.

PETA believes that the domestication of animals was a grave evil that should've never happened despite how helpful animals were and still are to the advancement of humans as a species. With that in mind, why do we keep giving these folks attention?

Yeah, I get that.
Care to elaborate why you want to support PETA and they won't let you?

It's more that their blatant, silly exposure is staining their name. If PeTA looses a screw again, then they're out of my bucket list.
And I'm well into that world already, so it just leaves me with a feeling of confusion. Should I stay or should I go?

Also, why go as far as telling people to go vegan? Did PETA start campaigning for the welfare of milk and cheese lately as well? It's not like eggs and dairy can't be obtained without harming animals (okay, eggs are a bit less ethical since baby chickens, but still).

Oh, with regards to the breast milk thing though, they do have an interesting point. I mean, human milk is more for human consumption than cow milk is. I'm not about to give up dairy by any means but it's true.

Their response?VERMONT — People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, cofounders of Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Inc., urging them to replace cow’s milk they use in their ice cream products with human breast milk, according to a statement recently released by a PETA spokeswoman.
“PETA’s request comes in the wake of news reports that a Swiss restaurant owner will begin purchasing breast milk from nursing mothers and substituting breast milk for 75 percent of the cow’s milk in the food he serves,” the statement says.
PETA officials say a move to human breast milk would lessen the suffering of dairy cows and their babies on factory farms and benefit human health.
“The fact that human adults consume huge quantities of dairy products made from milk that was meant for a baby cow just doesn’t make sense,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “Everyone knows that ‘the breast is best,’ so Ben & Jerry’s could do consumers and cows a big favor by making the switch to breast milk.”
PETA got served, ahahaha."in a statement Ben and Jerry’s said, “We applaud PETA’s novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother’s milk is best used for her child.”
