thats what i noticed too, i welcome the new speed since the original felt sluggish in comparison, i mean its not like they're driving karts, these are proper vehicles and the speed should of been vamped up, it looks a whole lot better than the original : )

Gillius' character model looks fantastic. I mean he looked good in SST, but man the one here is what I'd expect from a modern-day HD update of Golden Axe. Love it. Also never got into Shinobi but I can respect the franchise, and honestly I'm quite happy Joe Musashi got in because I have just as much fun playing around with the classic SEGA characters as I do with the Sonic characters.

And of course Vyse's CG model looked fantastic, and can't wait to see chaos unfold on the Jet Set Radio track.

Lots of significant improvements to be happy about but as a minor one, I'm glad Sonic's ditched those shitty hubcaps and popped some alloys on. It looks like a proper car and not a happy meal toy now.

Who's Soinc? I wish people would stop comparing us to DKR, I like to think we're breaking significant new ground in this, especially with the huge ensemble cast and levels, transforming vehicles and tracks and the fact it has slightly more than 300 polys on screen at any one time

I`m more excited about the Golden Axe stage though. The inclusion of the giant SELECT CHARACTER skeleton is a really nice touch.

The character select Skeleton was the very first thing we decided on when working out what went in the level - well after we decided to race on lava in a volcano. Expect some other liquid type surprises as we go!

Well, IGN actually went earlier than we expected, the new characters and track are the reveals for E3, though I note they've snuck out some shots from the Jet Set Radio track which we're calling Graffiti City. Wait till you see the Golden Axe track in action though...

S0L , can I ask what we may see in the demo at Summer of Sonic / Sonic Boom?

I'll be demoing the game and we're hoping to allow some hands on multiplayer at Summer of Sonic and Sonic Boom. We'll also likely reveal some new characters and a new track at Sonic Boom given it's around the same time as Comic-Con.

I'm also staying over this time, so I also hope to have a beer or two after the show

I might've missed this somewhere down the road, but will this game be available on Steam or in some other format on PC? That'll be my only opportunity to play it.

PC version is already announced, but we're not talking about specifics right now (there is a reason which will be clear when it happens). Wait and see, but I suspect you'll be rather happy

Thanks, we're really happy that people are getting excited about the game and the characters we've managed to secure for it. We've wanted to get Joe in for a long time, so it's good that it's appreciated

For me it's gonna be double dip on PC & Vita, hope that there won't be so much sacrifice made on the Vita especially not when it comes to the resolution, hate when it's sub-qHD.

Vita is looking good right now, it's actually pretty powerful. I think folk will be happy when they see it!

essentially Sumo would be losing out if they left him out, since Shadow has a fanbase that rivals Sonic's.
