As you may or may not I volunteer at a Rempoly Factory and as you may or may not know the UK government is going to close down the factories and sell them to private firms which means a lot of people with Mental and Physical disabilities are going to be out of work by the end of the year. For a lot people this is their livelihoods and probably for some will be the last shot at working for living, with dignity and purpose.

I understand that cuts across the country but when it affects you and the people you know it troubles you.Posted Image

Apparently to Ian Duncan Smith all we do is this:

“Is it a kindness to stick people in some factory where they are not doing any work at all? Just making cups of coffee?".

Er, Mr. Smith we work and we work very hard, thank you very much! He thinks we produce very little but some factories actually make a profit.

The truth I alot people I work with a very lovely people that work hard but many would find extremely difficult to work in a mainstream factory, as well as fear of being bullied, harassed, over-pressured and misunderstood.

Also the people at Rempoly do a lot more work than some of the arseholes out who are able-bodied refuse to work and do nothing.

In short Ian Duncan Smith is ignorant twat who should fuck off back to his ivory tower. Posted Image

Ah, another Tory not understanding what it's like not to have lots of money and to have a real world job. It ought to be a prerequisite for politicians to have real world job experience (which doesn't include being an executive, board member or MP).

Wow, talk about a cold hearted comment.

Attention Mr. Smith, please raise your hand if you are an ignorant twat.

Sucks about the closure. Sorry about that.
