Hey everyone, I'm new here, so I apologize in advance if this is a repeat topic, but what's your rarest Sonic memorabilia? What's the one thing you want in your collection the most?

I've got a few things that really stand out in mine, but I'd like to hear others' first!

I don't have many rare things, more just the pretty things and things I specifically want to collect. My rarest/most special pieces would be my F4F 20th Anniversary statue and copy of Knuckles Chaotix.

I too don't have things that could be considered "rare". If you mean something akin to being fairly "unique" however, I suppose you could say that my poster signed by Yuji Naka, Takashi Iizuka and Jun Senoue is;

I'd say that the rarest thing in my collection compared to everything else is possibly my Joypolis Sonic plush. My most desired piece of Sonic merchandise is either the F4F 20th Anniversary Sonic statue or the SA2 Soap Shoe Sonic plush.

The rarest piece of memorabilia I have...from a game standpoint, it'd be my Japanese copy of Chaotix, but the Yardley sketch of Vector and Espio I have is technically rarer as there's only one in existence. Love them both to pieces.

The one piece of Sonic memorabilia I want is the StF Espio plush. I could never afford it on the money I have now, and it's honestly way too much for me to justify spending for what it is. I would be so much more content in not owning it if SEGA made some plush company make some new official Chaotix plushes.

Also the Jazwares Chaotix 3-pack, but that'll be easy to find.

I guess the only somewhat rare Sonic item I have is the S&K PC collection. I'm not a sonic collector. All I do is play the games for the most part.
I would like to get those 20th anniversary pocket watches though.

I don't think I have anything too incredibly rare, although I do own some pretty cool rare-ish Sonic items.

I have the following games, which seem to be less commonly owned:
*Knuckles' Chaotix (32X)
*Sonic Jam (Saturn)
*Sonic Pocket Adventure (Neo Geo Pocket Color)
*Sonic Blast (Game Gear)
*Sonic's Schoolhouse (PC)

Also, I have an imported Japanese cartridge of the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the Mega Drive.

Some other things I own are the Sonic 10th Anniversary Birthday Pack, the Sonic 20th Anniversary exclusive t-shirt (that I got from Sonic Boom 2011), and a bunch of kick-ass Sonic game posters from Japan.

And last but not least, I own one of the First 4 Figures Classic Sonic statues.

I will one-up this and say I have Sonic the Movie on VHS. My mum found it at some discount store somewhere. I also have Sonic Christmas Blast on VHS but I'm not sure if that's rare or not.
I would say the most special Sonic item I have is a European copy of Sonic CD. Bought it on eBay from a guy in Hungary and it came with lots of neat stamps.
As you can see, I'm not very sure on what's rare or not. I just play the games. =P
Most desired item? I would love a copy of Sonic Advance 2 for GBA. Tis my favourite game out of the Advance series. That or Knuckles Chaotix with a working 32X.

I'm conflicted between my Sonic bobble head since I adore bobble heads or the Sonic plush my mom gave to me when she beat me at a boardwalk game when I was like 11.

This is all awesome stuff.

My mom spent about $40 back in 1994 trying to win me a plush Sonic from a classic UFO machine... and she got it. I still hold on to it! Very cool.

Oh yeah, I forgot how rare the movie has become now. *has it on both VHS ande DVD* >.>

Other than that, I'd say my most prized item is probably my Sonic 10th anniversary pack. The pack in itself isn't especially rare, but I managed to get mine signed by Naka, Iizuka and Senoue at SoS last year. :)

In terms of what I want, I dunno, really. I wish I had space to buy all of the F4F statues, but I really don't have any room for them whatsoever now. D:

I have a new copy of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle in my closet, which goes for £80 or more on eBay and such, but I got it for £15 at a market here.

UHM.. I have a notebook that has sonic and his little animal friends in outer space, wearing space suits on the cover.. I got it from Sanrio way back when.. I also have a Sonic Underground Kids menu/activity booklet from Denny's, not sure how many people held on to one of those.. Dunno which one is more rare!

As for what I most want.. If I could choose anything it'd be a SegaSonic arcade machine..

I think the only rarest item I have is the 20th anniversary statue:

and a Sonic Adventure wall scroll

That's about it since I think the 20th anniversary pocket watches, the Sonic Generations special edition and the SA2 10th anniversary special edition are pretty common so the statue and wall scroll are about it. I do wished I would have more rare items though Posted Image

The rarest thing I own? Well, I did not know that Sonic The Movie on VHS was so rare until I read this topic. I have a copy from a friend in America, got it way back in '05.

I also have Sonic CD. The Sonic Generations Collectors' Edition? Not sure if what was in there is rare, but in time it may become rare, who knows?

I have Sonic Shuffle for the Dreamcast... a video of Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog... A physical Sonic Riders PS2 demo that I managed to find in a game shop in England somewhere during the summer of '06...

To be honest, I grab whatever I can if I have the money!

The most desirable objects have to be an EU copy of Knuckles' Chaotix, a SegaSonic The Hedgehog Arcade cabinet, as well as a Sonic The Fighters one, Sonic Pocket Adventure, and all those new 20th Anniversary Sonic figures (not that rare, but it's a case of getting the money for them!)

EDIT: So tempted to upload my collection to this forum, is there a topic for that?
