Hey there SSMB!

Some of ya'll know me as that dude who does that stuff with that Gmod thing-a-majiger.

I've been developing a series called "Sonic Warped" which has Sonic in a Sliders like plot in which he is sent flying through different portals to different worlds (or games to us).

The basic plot:

"Sonic the Hedgehog has always taken on Dr. Robotnik's challenges. While infiltrating Robotnik's new forest logging base, Sonic finds himself in a whole mess of trouble when Robotnik's lazer fails tearing a portal in time and space. Sonic must find a way to open the portal in each world he visits. There is a task that must be completed in order for the portal to reappear. Sonic must continue opening portals until he finds the right one that will bring him home."

Here is episode 1:

The idea seems basic but I promise you that it's not an easy task creating this series. I've put myself through new challenges to achieve the best animation to my abilities. I know that there are other people out there in the Sonic community that have shown much better animations than I, but I do these because I just love to entertain. I'm very open to criticism and would love to know how I can improve. Some things I can't fix so try to be reasonable.

Episode 2 should be finished by the end of the month. Enjoy!

Very nicely done so far. Haven't watched very much yet though...

Who did you get to do Sonic, 'cause he sure sounds a hell of a lot like Roger Craig Smith.

That was pretty incredible stuff! Real high-quality production all round, you can really see the love and effort you put into this. ^_^

You've earned yourself a subscriber, good sir! I'll be keeping my eye on this for sure. ;)

Sonic is done by me actually. My Sonic voice is supposed to be me when I was 13. Thank's for the compliment!

Holy shit Steve, <333

It's pretty, it's awesome, it's epic, it's lulsy; it's freaking fantastic, >D. I really enjoyed it though (and now I want to play Skyrim again, D;), especially the breaking in part and the entire Skyrim part. Also, you've gotten REALLY DAMN GOOD at a Sonic voice since I last caught up with yeah, and we were super good back then too, so grats~

Really can't wait to see more honestly, I was kinda sad when it ended since there isn't more yet, XD.

You're actually okay with a fan comparing your Sonic voice to RCS? Holy crap!

So, I saw that this was made in Gary's Mod. I was immediately tempted to just exit and leave, but curiosity got the better of me.

I am so glad I didn't click out. You have quite the talent for voice acting, and the animation isn't half bad either. I mean, it IS Gary's Mod, but for fan-work, this is pretty awesome. I'm actually interested to see where you'll take this. Your Sonic voice is top-notch. If Classic Sonic ever spoke, it'd sound like that.

Oh, and will other Sonic characters be featuring, or is it just Sonic and Robotnik this go round?

I don't want to give too many spoilers, but Tails will be joining up but he won't be on the adventures. He will be guiding Sonic with a device that tells him what he needs to do in order to open the portals. Lame, but I love Tails too much to keep him out.

I didn't realize people didn't like RCS's voice. Posted Image I didn't like him at first TBH, but he grew on me after a while.

Thinking more about it, you sound like what I imagine RCS would if he were a bit younger.

You need to hang around here more often. Posted Image I like him but there's people who don't or still trying to warm up to him.

Anyway, I didn't mean to go off-topic. So yeah, excellent work Steve.

Okay, let me get my nitpicks out of the way first.
-Why is Sonic even bothering to use stealth in the opening sequence?
-And, at 2:16, why does Sonic look so angry?

Now let's get to how AWESOME it was! Seriously, your animation is awesome for Garry's Mod, and everything else is quite well done too! I really like your Sonic voice as well. Looking forward to the next episode!

Wow...that was brilliant! I was deeply impressed! I loved everything about it, especially your Sonic voice. From your animating to voice acting, you sure are talented! I could watch Episode 1 over again and again...I enjoyed it that much. Can't wait to see more from you, Steve. Keep up the excellent work! Posted Image

Agreed.

I finally got around to giving feedback - it was great, Steve! Excellent job!

as for why it took me so long, I got addicted to your G-Mod tutorials. I've been meaning to make SOMETHING with it, but I could never figure out what.

Fantastic stuff for a Gary's Mod Animation, also refreshingly good voices! My only suggestion would be more action sequences like the evading the Robot, which was the best bit imo.
Any hints as to what games'll be next? Would be great to see some other Sega titles like HotD (bad dialogue ftw) or SC5. (dance-off haha)

You have Steam right? How many hours have you spent on Garry's mod? I'm only just getting used to it after 11 hour (I haven't had it that long)
