Person of Interest is a crime TV show created by Jonathan Nolan for CBS. If that name sounds familiar to you it's because he's Christopher Nolan's brother. He co-wrote "The Prestige","The Dark Knight" and now "The Dark Knight Rises". Taking inspiration from Batman and "Minority Report" this is a crime prevention show.I'll let this trailer speak for me:

I loved the entire 1st season that ended recently and will definitely be buying it on DVD.I'm so glad that it was renewed for a 2nd season. Anyone here also a fan of this show?

I haven't been watching it enough to see all the episodes, but I've seen most of them (including the season finale,) and it's pretty awesome. It kinda reminds me of Burn Notice with him being a badass, ex-CIA and having someone to help him out with tech support. Except you know, with a machine.

I freaking love this show. Seriously. and of the two main characters, Reese is a walking and talking book of badass, because he just has so many damn awesome one-liners before he proceeds to beat someone senseless.

To say that this show is great would be a massive understatement. I think the thing I love most about Person of Interest is that despite leading you to believe that it'll fall into the trap most crime-dramas do (unrealistic plot events, lack of substantial character development, and poor plot progression), it consistently manages to excel in literally everything it does. Everything is explained really clearly, the characters all have very real issues and deal with them believably, and the same plot point isn't milked ad nauseum (I'm looking at you, The Mentalist).

I'd easily call it the best crime-drama out there, and it's one of the few shows currently airing that I actually care to follow.
