...No. I can't imagine anyone approving of their body being turned into sadistic objects.

I'm sure my Grandma would love to be turned into a helicopter. Just my 2 cents.

That's not really a valid point. Just because they aren't aware, it doesn't make it right. That's like saying if you died and your corpse got turned into some kind of sadistic toy, it'd be fine since you're not aware.

I really can't believe I'm the only one who finds a dead corpse turned into a toy to be wrong... I've lost even more faith in humanity. Smh.

It's a perfectly valid point, mang. Like I said in this thread, I actually think it'd be cool if my body was used post-mortem as a flying machine or some such. Especially if my face was all ">=D" and I came hovering out of nowhere to scare the shit out of people.

Again: if this was the wild or the cat was housebroken. It's carcass would be left on the ground as either a bloody mess or a rotting carcass. I doubt it would care that it's body is being used as anything.

In this case, it's mental. Getting pleasure by sticking propellers in a dead body and flying it is sadistic.

... The cat was already dead when the owner decided to turn it into a helicopter. No pain (mental, emotional, or physical) was actually inflicted on the cat because it, being dead and all, can't respond to it.

It doesn't have to feel anything. It still counts as being sadistic, even if dead. Getting pleasure by physically abusing a dead body.




This is also besides the point. The point is what the artist has done is wrong, not debating over several definitions of the word sadistic.

That doesn't matter, the cat wouldn't give a damn that it's corpse was used to make a helicopter. Do cats care to bury their prey out of respect, or how about when they toy around with the rats they kill? How about when they get in fights with other cats and kill them? No. It leaves the body rotting there and wouldn't care what happens to it; at that point the corpse is an empty shell to it. So the cat probably doesn't even give damn wherever it is.

I don't really see what the big deal is here. All he did was pimp out his dead cat.

I mean look at it this way, by turning his cat into a helicopter he's able to remember his cat in more of a fun and exciting way, I mean in that way he can still play with it, take it out for walks flights, and just have a good time with his old friend, something he really couldn't do with a rotting carcass underground or some boring statue that just stares at you.
