Final Wave of SOS tickets: 22nd June 6PM (GMT)

140 tickets will go live for the taking at that point. If you still want to go to SOS and can actually make it down to Brighton (Well... Hove) this is the final chance you have to get tickets.
Groups will be limited to two people per ticket, and not four. This is so that children who will need to be accompanied by an adult to the convention can easily have a parent or guardian added to an application. You will be able to do this by clicking a “+” icon on your application form and adding the full name of the additional guest.
Good luck.

Have tickets from previous waves been sent out yet?
Nope. It'll be announced/obvious when this happens as people will be talking about it.
Typical, I'm fucking working. No SoS for me this year. Fuck.
You have just under a week, can't you get someone else to try for you?

It's kind of an awkward thing to ask of someone, really. I really hope that means of gaining entry changes next year. Issuing tickets in waves is a good idea, but far from ideal considering how hast they go (which I know wasn't foreseen beforehand). You have just under a week, can't you get someone else to try for you?
EDIT: Nice to see these extra 140 tickets any way. How'd it all get sorted out?

I personally don't see how things need to change next year in regards to issuing tickets - there's obviously a lot of people who want to go to Summer of Sonic, and the people who organise it will hopefully get a much bigger venue to accommodate this next year. All this year's issue was was a big underestimate on how many people would want to go.
and announcing things before tickets where given out, especially Crush 40's attendance
oh and how late they left the ticket distributing too close to the venue date.

I don't believe for one second that Crush 40's announcement was the primary reason for the demand on tickets.
Case example... Sonic Boom. Crush 40 were announced for that venue long ago, have the tickets sold out? Nope. You can still get tickets for Sonic Boom's first wave. Now before someone says 'oh well SOS tickets are free' are you seriously expecting anyone to believe that if you were that mad on Crush 40, $20 would be a barrier for you to go see them?
I think the demand for tickets if anything is an indication of what SOS has become. Had the two Nigels just been announced I suspect tickets would have gone just as quick, especially since last years event was so huge and popular.
Should also point out.
SOS 2010. Crush 40 get announced on July 11th 2010
Ticket registrations were open on July 19th 2010
Ticket registrations were still open on July 25th 2010
Despite Crush 40 being announced over a week to ticket registrations, registrations were still open nearly a week after they went live.
If you -REALLY- want to go that badly, you'd pull in a favour or two. I know I would. Either way, hope you try to get something sorted.
I agree, if you really want to go to this or any other event, what is the problem exactly with asking someone to try and register the tickets in your name/details? Well so long as you plan on turning up.

When the first two sets went we didn't have a clear idea of how many places we'd need to reserve for staff and guests, so we erred on the side of caution. Turned out to be less than we expected.

Also, how is 1 week not enough to recieve virtual tickets and print them off?
I'd presume one or two people emailing each of the 800+ people their ticket would take a long time.

In all fairness, a fair amount of people signed up for group tickets, so hopefully it might help things a bit.

I think last year it took a night or two at the most didn't it.
Was at the cinnema when the tickets went live. Quite awesome to see just how popular this thing has become.
