What anime/gaming/sci-fi conventions are you attending this year?

For me, I already attended Dallas Comic-Con, Project A-kon 23, and on Labor Day Weekend I will be attending Animefest 2012.

I never attend these things because I don't have a way to get to them, I want to. I might try the local anime conventions in my city though, if I can get some friends to go with me. :\

Out of the maybe 4 different conventions we have around here, the next one I'm probably attending is going to be Fandemonium 2012. Which should be around the first week of August. (http://www.fandemonium.org/)

It's definitely my favorite out of the few conventions that are held in my state. Though, I'm kinda glad we actually have any here at all.

Edit: and actually, this year, I'm not only submitting artwork to be used at the con, but I also plan to submit a Sonic themed GMV to the Music Video competition. I seriously can't wait to attend this year.

I'm attending one right now. Its called the Super Fun Crow Convention where I, Crow, goes out and do whatever I want. Its a great convention too.

Man I want to go to a concert right now.

I'm always in New York when the cons I want to go to are on the west coast and in Seattle when the cons I want to go to are on the east coast. Shitsux.

I was at Anime Detour back in March (It's like a minute away from my house, so no surprise). I'm planning to go to Sonic Boom next Friday as well.

In the previous two years I've been to the same two conventions called Q-Con in Belfast, NI and Nom-Con in Dublin, ROI. This year I've gone to neither. Only one I'm going to this year and looks likely to be the only one this year is Summer of Sonic.

Should it go well I will attend again in 2013, but I'm also raising my sights up very high and travelling to Otakon 2013 in Baltimore, MD. Mainly because there's a bunch of people I know to an extent who go there every year.
