Yeah there you go fans. This is the closest we're ever gonna get to a full remake. The way higher requirements than the original pc version suggest that the graphics are certainly being enhanced and hopefully we're gonna get the real soundtrack instead of the MIDI crap in the original pc version. There's also achievements and cloud saves. I never got the original pc version because of how they butchered the soundtrack but i might get this.

You'll never hear the end of it until it's a fully fledged remake.

It may even get worse if this PC port somehow sucks

Well, that doesn't look any different to the PSone version at all. I'll pass.

Also - never liked FFVII. In my opinion it's one of the worst in the series -VI is loads better.

Indeed, i just now saw the announcement trailer. I really hope that's not how it looks. The original pc version's graphics looked more polished than in the psx:

Why the hell would it have those high requirements if it still looks the same? I smell they're pulling a SA2 Xbox Live port on us.

"New"

"Remastered"

lololol. The old shitty PC port, and barely touched up from the look of those reqs.

It's been on PSN for a while bro.

This is the company that couldn't get what essentially is a SNES game to run stable on PSP.

Port or not, It'll be nice to finally play this game for myself. I never got to play this game due to lack of interest and a lack of a PS1 at the time... I lack a PS1 or 2 at the moment, but at least I finally have a way to play it that's not through an emulator.

Final Fantasy VII has aged about as smoothly as Solid Snake, so I really couldn't care less. Give me a remake with some decent visuals, a completely rewritten script, and a remastered soundtrack, or I'm not interested. Believe it or not, LEGO people and "this guy are sick" aren't going to cut it in this day and age, even if it does have "cloud saves" and a win button.

Well I still have the original ps1 game(and still play it sometimes on my ps2)and since it appears to have no big differences I think I'll pass too.

Ugh. It's not like Final Fantasy series is known for being hard in the first place.
