My brother and I used every characters All Star moves to attack the opponents, yet we still didn't receive the "Fighters Megamix" trophy. I went to the Trophy List on the game itself, and it says that I've used 20/20 of the All Star moves and should have the trophy. But I don't.
Not really a trophy whore, actually I've only Plat'd 2 games (so far). but nothing's worse than having earned a trophy and still not getting it. Hope this gets addressed.
EDIT: Nevermind. It updated when I got my next trophy.

Man I love this game

I've got them all!
For the Bonanza Bros one you don't need to collect ALL of them, but the ones in midair are essential as they are worth more points. The ones to the sides of the side ramps are the ones you don't need. If you take a sort of figure 8 route you should be able to get the ones you need. It's difficult to describe but you should be able to figure it out.
On the Sonic one, you may notice that the weapon pickups aren't random and they also don't respawn. What you need is the triple boxing glove ones. They are located in the middle of the arena and the far corners. With all of these you should be able to take down the robot in time. And also, don't hold the fire button with them, just press it 3 times quickly. And remember, to get AAA you must not lose any of your lives.

Played a few games online, and I need to raise my game, had some really good races! Saw some familiar names too...

I raced a couple with you and some other people from here (I suspect, I know Yoshi was there and SonikkuCreed.) I'm extremely happy that I can now say I beat the executive producer... as Big the Cat!
Also S0L, I accidentally joined your party while attempting to join your game. =X I thought they were the same thing... apparently not.

I mean, fair enough, all the Sonic stages are based on Sonic Heroes. Sonic Heroes isn't the only Sonic game in existance. >.> But! Even it were, Seaside Hill, Casino Park and Final Fortress weren't the only three stages in the game, either. >.>
Yes, good point.
A level based on a stage from Sonic and the Secret Rings (Evil Foundry comes to mind!) would've been really good (not sure what the restrictions were, though). And I'm sure many would've jumped for joy had there been a Sonic R-inspired course.
But continuing with your Heroes line of thought: A stage based on Frog Forest, Grand Metropolis (one of my favourites), or even Hang Castle might have been nice. Actually even with Final Fortress, an Egg Fleet-esque stage during the day would've been cool. Personally, I think there's one too many tech/mech-based Sonic stages and even in that respect, the game would've benefited from more variety. In fact, three levels of HotD seems a bit much to me (Sewers and the rooftop one would've sufficed).
Again, depends on what the restrictions were that Sumo had to work with. Don't get me wrong though, just minor suggestions. I'm dying to get the game.

Hey, asshole--before you try and use our site as some sort of justification for your arrogant developmental choices, how about you consider the fact that somebody posted that shit when the admins weren't online? We removed the links, and we absolutely don't endorse the spread of pirated games like that. Try being a bit considerate before you try and make an example out of us.Go take a look on Sonic Retro, where on one hand they're complaining the PC doesn't have online, and a few posts later they're linking to Wii ISO's and DS Roms. That's why you don't have online on the PC.

Yeah I noticed that with Sonic, though only the middle one is triple boxing gloves the others are one, So I just stay there? I also found that boosting towards him does damage.
The Bonanza Bros one do you mean the jumps at the side? left and Right ones with the 50 and 10?
If only someone made a YT vid on them

For what it's worth, as soon as the staff saw those links we tore them down. I pre-ordered ASR on PS3, and don't approve of the pirating of it by those too lazy/cheap to go out and buy it or use an online shop - don't tarnish all of us because of one or two idiot's actions, please.

Not having online makes people pirate a game more. There's no reason to care if it has no online as you get the full experience by just pirating it. With online on the other hand, you need to buy it if you want to actually play it. Good job fucking yourself out of thousands of dollars.

No, I meant in the very far corners of the level (not in the middle area).
Yeah I meant the jumps at the side. Go for the 50 and ignore the 10.

Anyone have 360/PS3 footage of Ocean Ruin? Love being in that underwater tunnel and wonder how it looks on the HD twins. I appreciate it.

Had to point this out:S0L's been standing up for himself and the guys at Sumo Digital in the comments section of the 6/10 Eurogamer review -
No shit? I don't understand his logic in comparing his ability to distinguish a simple track from a game he's played for 20 years to a complex track from a game he's played just recently.Nearly two decades on, I could probably still draw a map of Koopa Beach or Choco Island's sublime simplicity from memory, yet mere minutes after putting down the joypad on Sonic's effort and I can barely distinguish one overly busy course from another.
And by this time, can we just bury the hatchet and just make the kart racer it's own sub genre already? Cause at this point saying a cartoon mascot racer is a ripoff of Mario Kart holds as much wait as saying it comes in a box.
And I find it odd how he says multiple times that the game is taken straight from Mario Kart with all the things inspired by it, yet for the drifting mechanics, aka, something DIFFERENT from Mario Kart, he says that they don't "necessarily fit into the specific niche of kart racing".
So when it's similar it's a ripoff, yet when it's different it doesn't fit into the genre?

Sumo, S0L, as much as I love ya, I will NEVER forgive you for not having custom soundtracks in the PS3 version. TT_TT

This.
There's no excuse for blatantly lashing out at the community because one person posted a link to a DS rom that DIDN'T WORK
You're meant to be a professional, quite frankly I'm dissapointed that such childish insults are being thrown about and not only that but to Sonic Retro. Sonic Retro has contributed a hell of a lot and now because one person posted a link. Online play would've trebled the sales of the PC version of the game and that's that.

Anyhow, yeah. The game rocks. I've made my way through the six cups on Beginner and Advanced, and just finished the Chao Cup on Expert (or whatever 'hard' is called). I've also cleared and achieved AAA ranks on the first 16 missions. Once I've finished all of the single-player stuff, I'm gonna take this thing online for some real competition! AVP and ASR are the most fun I've had with a game in a LONG time. Thank you, UK, for having such awesome developers. And thank you, SEGA, for funding their projects.

And in all fairness none of you were any better by coming here and bitching to him about it, especially considering most of you have started personal attacks on him.
