Seems my tidbits were popular, honestly though, everyone commented on the TSS article and no one does on the Wrecks one, lol

Perhaps I'll do some more later before the US release.

SSMB EXCLUSIVE~!

The Sonic CD track is indeed Palmtree Panic (Present) - Japanese/Euro version.

As I corrected myself earlier on Wrecks, Wrapped In Black does appear but only the Wrapped In Black end of level jingle.

The instrumental version of E.G.G.M.A.N is also purchasable.

One of the multiplayer modes, Grab, consists of you battling for control of the seven chaos emeralds... VERY addictive.

There are three arenas - the Curien Mansion graveyard, "Seaside Square" and a monkey ball level arena with ramps and a bridge.

I'll also hopefully be close to 1000 points by the end of this evening. All I've got left are the LIVE ones, one secret one and the gold license! XD

Thanks ;) Added them to my article. I thought you'd have quite alot of comments on your post. Maybe people havent got used to you having a comments section. You've nearly got all 1000 points? :o I saw you online the other day at 390, I take it the full game is enjoyable and addictive then?

EDIT: Darn my internet being so slow stopped my article from updating >_<

EDIT 2: Sorted now :D

Oh yes, Actually I forgot I still need to finish all missions with AAA as well, but I'm 2/3 the way through that. I finished beating all the staff ghosts last night, absolutely DESTROYING some of them. XD

 I wonder who's ghosts they are, Steve, Travis, Craig? If you're reading this Steve, one or some of you suck at your own game and we demand to know who.
(Just kidding, I know you have to set the times so that most people can beat them with practice :P )

Yay! :D

HO HO HO HO HO!!!

edit: The Guardian review incorrectly uses the term "reskin" as in "Weapons are simple reskins of Mario Kart staples". Derp, if they were reskins then they would be using the same in-game models. :P

I'd love Metal Harbor Theme (That's the Way I like it) in Sea Side Hill...

and from JSRF I'd like Birthday Cake (I think thats what its called. It was the 4th song in the garage...)

This whole Mario Kart comparison stuff is just getting crazy now, SEGA should make a cheeky/funny statement to press about it without bashing Mario Kart of course.

Re-skin actually means something more along the lines of same function, different model. Think Sonic and Shadow in SA2, or the Mashers and Choppers in Sonic 1 and 2. You're currently thinking of a re-texture. So yeah, they are re-skins to an extent. But also standard for any Kart Racer.

HO HO HO HO HO!!!

Epic win. nwn

I'm seeing myself singing the song while playing. xD

I suppose Wrapped in Black would be the ending song for Final Fortress tracks. Good choice IMHO. ^^

Once the game releases, we'll have to have a thread for XBOX 360 custom soundtrack recommendations. :)

Ah! Okay. Though technically wouldn't re-skin be referring to reusing (some of) the same data between games? Of course SASAR used 0% assets from Mario Kart Wii, so the Guardian is wrong... in a way.

@MarcelloF I'd love Birthday Cake too, but I doubt any licensed music from JSRF will be included. :( Unless Cibo Matto was kind enough to oblige.

THat also makes me wonder what the Crazy Taxi all-star tune would be. My guess is the menu music or the "choose a car and driver" tune. Though, I'd love to hear the intro of "All I Want" or "Come Out Swinging".

Wasted oppurtunities @ Battle arenas, who didn't see those coming?...

AAUK, please tell me one of the Seaside Hill stages is set at night time, that'd be amazing.

Thanks Blue Blood, gave you credit in the article. AAUK do you know if this is a GAME Spain exclusive or not? If you're allowed to talk about that yet of course.

Can you tell us how many miles it takes to unlock a character or track?

Wow, I suppose my tastes are bad since that song gives me a headache whenever I listen to it. xD

I don't think that PS3 bundle could be exclusive to Spain. You see, there's a pair of "spanish exclusive features" that there aren't that at all, if I recall correctly with the Wii bundle and whatever was the other thing. xD

Also, that bundle costs 12 euros more than the normal game only, so it's not a special feature added for free.

Birthday Cake is an acquired taste. I myself have trouble listening to the Latch Brothers tracks. Bran Van 3000's "The Answer" is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Btw, did one of you losers make this? Fess up!

I'm not sure if its the name of the song, but "The Girl on Isle 10" is sort of addicting :-/

Yeah, "The Girl on Isle 10" was an odd inclusion but I liked it. Suited the more mellow levels. So we're looking at 5 JSRF tunes? I wonder if that means JSR tunes as well.

SST had:
Everybody Jump Around
Let Mom Sleep
Fly Like A Butterfly
Funky Dealer (played in trailer, not sure if it was in-game)

German GamePro review has new screens (not sure if this has been posted), 82%
