Tapatalk Mobile App (Now on SSMB!)

I'd like to just give some feedback. I think it would be nice if SSMB has Tapatalk support as most of the forums nowadays have it. It is much faster and easier. The now existing mobile version is still quite slow and the UI isn't very nice to see. Using the desktop view is slightly weird and yeah, troublesome as there might be some trouble and lag. Of course, this is just an idea that I'll like to see happen but it is possible to live without.

This topic title is very misleading. I was expecting this to be a new vehicle to be unlocked in All Stars Racing Transformed.

I heard that Invision Power Boards has support for Tapatalk. Someone in the status box kept whining (kidding!) for support and was jealous that Sonic Retro had support but SSMB didn't.

https://play.google.....activity&hl=en

Basically, it is an app that allows you to organize your favorite forums in a clean manner. It streamlines everything by showing posts/videos/images of specific threads or just replies that you haven't read yet. It is useful because it can display posts you haven't read from on Sonic Retro and SSMB. Or you could just have SSMB show posts across different threads.

The best part about it is that it is extremely fast since it is streamlined to make Mobile forum posting an easy task. IP Board supports this feature but as I've heard, SSMB doesn't have it yet.

I wasn't whining, I was suggesting. I think I remember someone else whining.

I was just planning to make a thread about it. Cause typing something here from the phone is painful.

From what I heard making forum Tapatalk native is easy for experienced Admin and takes just few minutes (My friend is Admin on one of Polish forums that uses IP Board too. So please make this Tapatalk native Admins. Please!!! It's like only forum I don't have in my Tapatalk ;_;

As I recently had to redo the whole process because of Tapatalk upgrades, I can say that the process of making a board compatible is really fast and takes maybe ten minutes tops.I know it doesn't have a ton of people who use it all the time (my own stats show maybe a dozen on any given day) but those who do are fiercely loyal about it.

Hey, I didn't see any place specific for forum suggestions so I figured bug reports was probably the most appropriate for this kinda thing.

I do most of my mobile forum browsing with Tapatalk, a very popular app for Android and iOS. I searched for SSMB on it but didn't find it (although I found Sonic Retro). So, I'd like to suggest the installation of Taptalk to SSMB! There's a relatively simple way of installing it under "Activate Tapatalk," I've done it myself for a couple forums (never for IPB though).

Here's hoping I can browse SSMB on my phone soon. Thanks for reading!~

Touch "Change theme" It's on the bottom of the page, click IP Board mobile, the only downside to it is it's plain white and you can't post status updates, everything else pretty much works the same way, although I still prefer the full view as I use the status updates more than I post.

I merged this into an identical topic. So this is what was displayed on my phone today when I tried to connect through my smartphone's browser earlier today. Currently testing it out, it looks neat. I would like to say thanks to the one who implemented it!

What I don't like is that every time you make a post, at the bottom, there is a "Sent from Tapatalk" with a URL link to the download. I don't like that because it would ALMOST be considered spam...

Go to the Settings menu and scroll down to "Tapatalk Signature." From there, select None and that blurb will not show up in your posts.

I apologize for the small bump, but I do have some somewhat useful information for users:

If you want to make that "Sent from <X Device> using Tapatalk" message not show up in the posts you make, log in and go to Settings. There, scroll down to the Signature section, tap on Tapatalk Signature and select None on the drop-down menu. With that, that line will no longer show up in your posts.

But how else will people know where I posted from D:

For some reason, it keeps showing 'no new topics' for me. Oh well, I'll just use the site.

My issue with the app is and has alway been that I can't reply and post to status updates. 80% of my time on SSMB is the status updates, to be honest. That needs to get added for me to use it, pronto.
