So in Sonic Generations they let you do all the tricks you were able to do on the other games. Would you want a download to add more tricks to the package?

I don't see what the point would be. Yeah, tricks look awesome and show just how awesome an acrobat Sonic is but then that's all they are and downloadable new tricks seem unnecersary and tacked-on.

What they ought to be doing is new zones as DLC rather than wasting time and resources making new animations for something that isn't really important.

I'd understand if they added a few little animations and quirks to the game as an added bonus to a DLC pack of extra levels/bosses, but making one just for tricks would be incredibly stupid and absurd

If it wasn't the main focus, sure why not. Maybe give Sonic a different idling animation too while were at it, but no way in hell would I pay anything for it specifically. It'd be a an unlisted bonus when you bought, say, "Ice Cap Zone" DLC if they ever expanded with something worth while like a stage.

Sonic Adventure DX Ice Cap would be nice but I'm talking tricks. They could add the roll turn trick in the air so you can dodge flying robots. Or the quick flick in mid air. Maybe an upside down smash? There are lots of tricks Sonic hasn't done yet.

No they're not that exciting. If anything tricks should be done anytime you gain some air like in sonic rush, not have specific sections specifically for them. Or just not at all, whatever's easier. Also, DLC should be new LEVELS not animations.

So you're talking about new attack moves? If so, then that'd be kinda cool I guess. Not worth shelling out extra money for that on it's own though.

Maybe rename the topic something like "Attacks DLC for Generations?" or something? Tricks are already something in modern Sonic games and refer to something else, so of course people will be confused on what you're talking about.
