Hey fellow Sonic fans, i'd like to tell you about an arcade I found in Bournemouth in Dorset. I'm guessing it used to be a sega world because it has sonic, tails & robotnik on the walls. In the arcade itself is 4 sonic basketball machines, 2 sonic air hockey tables, 2 sonic & sega allstars racing machines and 3 sonic slot machines. It's located in the city centre next to an odeon cinema and it can be recognised by all the 'i love tickets' on it's front. The best way to get to it is to head towards the sea front with the pier. Then head into the gardens and head up to the pavilion theatre (It has a fountain at the front). Opposite the pavilion is the odeon cinema and next to it is the arcade. At the front you will see the basketball machines. You will need to head to the back of the arcade to find the other machines.

Yeah, while Arcades aren't much of a thing here these days, SEGA do still have a fairly strong presence when you do come across them. The SEGA amusements site is cool to keep an eye on. All the stuff you've mentioned is on there.

Is this the Sonic air hockey you're referring to?

I remember there was this one arcade in a near by town that had one of those ski-jump coin-roll games, but it was Sonic themed with Green Hill Zone. I saw it when I was in 8th grade about 7-8 years ago (I think?) and it blew my mind at the time haha.

We've got a Sonic machine in a nearby "arcade". It's just some dumb, generic roullette machine with Sonic's face plastered on it. :V

We've got a Sonic Coin slider game at a local bowling alley arcade. It's so awesome. I win tons of tickets every time.

The GameWorks I went to had the air-hockey. And I'm working on converting an old arcade cabinet into a Sonic-themed one that I can hook up to my computer/ old GameCube, but I haven't made much progress on it yet.

There was an arcade housing one of the aforementioned coin roller machines. Unfortunately the thing never seemed to work whenever I went to give it a try, and the staff were so incredibly useless in my vain attempts to get it up and running. The place shut down a few years later, and I can only hope the machine went off to a good home.

There's a pretty banged up one on eBay going for the $195.00 I can't afford to spend. Should at least give an idea of what the machine is like.

That would've been great if they had that at Great America when I was there 2 months ago! Instead, I found Marvel VS Capcom 1 and 2, which are kick ass fighting games, but that would've ruled. D:
