Is anyone else experiencing this? I really hate it when I accidentally hit the Home button and my browser had to keep up with the load.
Browser Info:
Firefox - Latest Version
4GB RAM
Windows 7
Intel Core Duo 2 (1.8 GHZ)

About two weeks ago I was experiencing major issues with slow down... then I did a TSS update, the moment that update went live the main page started loading very quickly with no issues. My guess is that it pushed the video heavy update off the front?

I can't check anyone elses articles except my own, however due to the way we've been told to embed videos, it shouldn't be causing serious problems if it's been embedded right. However I'm not sure why that one doesn't have a 'more' tag on it so I'll ask about that and see if it'll help with the page at all.
Edit: Can someone let us know if the problem has fixed/improved itself at all? That uber update now has a 'read more' link on it. With any luck it should speed things up?
Because for some reason the site is still loading quite quickly for me, using an old version of IE too.

Should be fixed, and I damn hope it stays that way.

Fixed. I think it's due to the fact that my Sound Test posts are linked over both sites, then whatever happens and the entire article is hosted without a link after the jump. I take my eye off of it, then it screws things up again...

Yeah, it's running much better now for me. Thanks for the quick fix, good sir!

I've been suffering slowdown for a loooooooooooong time on the main site, that's why I mostly never use it. And I do think it's the massive amounts of videos at once. Isn't there any way to hide them, like a spoiler tag or something?

And yeah, I did try to avoid the main site due to the lag.
