Eh, I don't like this show AT ALL.
That's cool, but you're not helping anything in this topic with spam like that. Maybe if you post a level-headed reason why that'd be cool, but this doesn't fly man.

I watched 2 episodes of the show, and it baffles me. The story itself isn't that bad, but the way it's executed is awful. It's very unbalanced. Not the slightest bit of negativity is allowed. Not the slightest. To the point where the evil villian is captured within the first 2 episodes, and turns into a hero 30 seconds after being defeated... illogical.
Could a fan of the show please explain the appeal to me?

Also, in her later appearance, Luna (the villain) is awesome and funny and IS QUEEN OF CAPS LOCK. Don't diss. B|

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here. Yes, conflict in each episode is usually solved by the end, but that's kind of the whole point. It's a show about friendship, so of course it's going to be about working through conflict among friends instead of DRAMAAAAAAA.It's very unbalanced. Not the slightest bit of negativity is allowed. First of all, it's a cartoon, not to mention a cartoon about colourful talking ponies. Logic? What's that?To the point where the evil villian is captured within the first 2 episodes, and turns into a hero 30 seconds after being defeated... illogical.
Second of all, Luna/Nightmare Moon is literally the only true villain in the series to go through this. Both the major villains in Season Two were defeated without being redeemed, because they are both explicitly irredeemable. Other antagonists, such as Gilda, also went without redemption, instead leaving town.
Honestly, the first two episodes are the only ones where the antagonist was befriended, which is kind of funny considering what this show is about.

It's something that makes a decent storyline.
I never mentioned drama. Not once. Literally nothing goes wrong. It's all sugar and rainbows. It's basically a cartoon version of the Teletubbies.
Again, the first two episodes are REALLY different and actually rather bad compared to the rest of the show. It's actually for the most part a slice of life comedy with magical wackiness.

Oh. I understand. I should watch more episodes? If so, roughly when does it start getting more interesting? If it's just a few episodes, great. I don't want to sit through a whole season.

That's not true. Like, at all.
Every single episode of the show has conflict. They just vary in scope, with most of them being small-scale character-driven storylines and generally only the bookend episodes being dramatic.
Edit:
Twilight, WHY U GET RID OF THEM?

Well I guess it depends on the sort of "conflict" your looking for. If your here for a dark and over all serious plot then I'll tell you right now this isn't the show for you. Each episode does indeed have a conflict but people need to keep in mind that this is a show (franchise) aimed for little kids, not people 13+. In fact, the team behind it probably wasn't even aware that bronys even existed before most of season one was finished and season 2 was already well underway. The reason why people like it is that it doesn't follow the route people expected it to. It isn't in fact all sugar and rainbows. It actually has character development and well told narratives (not to mention animation and music). If your comparing this to something like Teletubbies then you must of been watching a previous generation. Now trust me when I say I realize the show isn't for everyone and thats perfectly find; but I really think you should check out S1EP3, S1EP10, S1EP25, S2EP3, S2EP4, or S2EP14 (original) just to get a good feel about it before you decide. Heck, you might even want to check out the season finale that just aired; it might just be up your alley in terms of conflict. Of course there are a lot more great ones in there, but those are the ones that come to mind for great starters.
Now about dat finale...

Discord confirmed for season 3.

I actually have to go the opposite way and say that I've always preferred the two-parter episodes to the regular standalone episodes, especially during Season 2 where I saw far more of the Cutie Mark Crusaders (my least favourite characters
I guess the show isn't necessarily about "excitement and drama" all the time, though (even though to my recollection, the original vision of Season 1 was to not have Nightmare Moon defeated right from the off), and I appreciate that they want to go for a more "everyday life" kind of thing. There was a nice little string of continuity through the first season that I liked with the whole gala thing, which I didn't feel was as strong through Season 2 (mainly because they were too busy trying to cram as many horrible Cutie Mark Crusader episodes in as possible).
As for the finale? It wasn't bad, although I would say the only "Disney-like" thing about it was the fact that there were a fair few musical numbers. As much as it's going to pain all of you My Little Pony fans, the animation quality, while good, is nowhere near up to Disney standards. But then I'm more of a casual fan than anything hardcore, so maybe you guys see something that I don't.

But I wanted the party as a third part episode and not that rushed ending.
And now to hype all summer for season 3!
Well that's the power of love.

Well, it's a mix between Italian and Spanish. Sometimes I'm baffled at english-speakers and their inabilty to recognize the difference between them. What does "Mi Amore Cadenza" even mean? "My love of rhythm?"
By the way, the correct Italian form would be " Il Mio Amore Brisura", while the correct Spanish one would be "mi amor brisada", if I'm not mistaken. I think it means "My Love of Cadency", Cadency being any systematic way of distinguishing similar coats of arms belonging to members of the same family. Or at least, that's what Wikipedia says.
Edit: Yeah, I discovered that Cadenza is not the Italian word used for Cadency. We say "Brisura". Spanish-speakers don't use it either.
Then again...Cadenza in italian means rhythm. They probably thought that it was also the word used for Cadency. A false friend, if you will. I can sympathize with them. It's an understandable error.

Well, this show is a refreshment. Like ice cold water on a hot summer day. Me being absolutely tired of the king of pubecent cynicism; Seth McFarlanes works at this point, thinks that this is development at it's finest. No fart jokes as long as the eyes can see. Good!
It's like watching Daria. It makes you smarter every episode.
