I'm really not interested any of those titles except the rumored Mirror's Edge 2.  I'm hoping to get some sort of an official announcement of that title.

So was this conference better or worst than Microsoft?

 

Overall, the conference was quite terrible. The sport segment is the same old recycled speech from the same old recycled franchises.

 

But it did have one or two megatons.

I think they're on par. This conference, besides the announcement of Peggle 2, Battlefront 3 and MIRROR'S EDGE 2 (<3) was just dull dull DULL. I also love how EA are acting as if Nintendo doesn't even exist throughout the entire thing. It was infuriating.

Didn't you know? "reboots" with just the original game title and no number or subtitle are all the rage! (like.. seriously, it's getting ridiculous-)

So a new Starwars game was announced, and its battlefront 3, but no games for the wii-u? well thats annoying, sure hope they release SWB3 for PC at least

Plus a shit load more people own a Wii than own a U. Bigger market.

 

Thing is though, as I've explained many times before, said market would be on the U too if they put the games it wants on there.

I suppose the Wii and 3DS have far bigger userbases than the U, but still? This thing is on almost literally every single current and previous gen system except Wii U! (and DS but that's a bit less weird)

Speaking of the 3DS, I don't think one handheld game was shown or mentioned in passing in either EA or Ubi's events. What's up with that? There's money to be made, easy money, so why aren't they going for it?

It's extremely strange, but maybe it's just not their market.

 

I bet if they put effort into handheld gaming and gave it pushes at media events, it could actually gain a lot of attention.. they just don't want to risk it?
