Sonic Unleashed Secret Meaning?

Sonic Unleashed, the Icarus of the Sonic series. So much potential, but in the end, it burned up and fell to the ground.

Regardless, it's theme song is awesome. But could it have a hidden meaning? Was SEGA trying to tell us something?

Anyway, good song. Unleashed had potential, but we definitely didn't get it until Colors and Generations. But damn did we get it.

 

Was the video supposed to be a joke though? Cause it just seems like saying what we already know, that the dark age sucked, Sonic fans are hard to please, all accompanied by darp Sonics.

Well you certainly know how to put a video together, and it is funny how the lyrics reflect the quality of the series a little at the time (I assume you're not actually serious about your "theory" that said reflections are intentional).

 

In the future though I just wanna say that there's a vast difference between using people's art and crediting them and actually asking permission to use their work.  You should do the latter.

Although I disagree with your beliefs, you have a knack for kinetic typography, if you aren't sure what I mean, Google it, and try it out.

Video was well put together even if none of the assets were yours. Good job.

 

As for thecontet, well, it's your opinion...I personally think Unleashed is a great game, both the Sonic and Werehog sections. Though I totally get why people dislike the Werehog, it doesn't bother me too much.

You can apply this way of thinking to a huge number of songs from the Sonic series, and twist them around in such a way that it sounds like a "secret message", as you say. It's nothing more than an idle theory though. I don't think there's anything in it.

It was just a fun video to make. Not at all to be taken seriously.

Though I admit, I am ashamed I wasn't able to get in contact with the creators. Like, seriously. But it was just so much fun to make.
