Hey ppl!

So recently I got my hands on sonic advance for the first time, and as soon as

I started playing, I noticed something:

compare with:

(time 0:24)

as you might notice, sonic happens to do the same somersault-skid thing that he does in sonic advance

just a cool little detail I caughtpost-7265-0-96865100-1426372738_thumb.gi

Nice find, I guess. Sonic Generations is peppered with nice little references and poses Sonic's done in the past, such as the Sonic Adventure cover pose after finishing a trick combo so it's nothing out of the ordinary. Good eye, though.

The Sa1 cover art pose was in his A rank or S rank victory animation. The way the do it in Generations is much more noticeable.

The fact that he interrupts a perfect reproduction of the somersault-into-skid with that quick spin in the middle makes me question whether this was 100% intentional or whether it was just a coincidence but who knows.
