HONG KONG 97 & other obscure video games

RECENTLY AVGN has made a review of a "cult classic", a Japanese SNES game "Hong Kong 97".

Without a doubt one of the most obscure games in the world as far as we know.

Content full of anti-Communistic messages and slight amount of swearing,

not to mentiong footage of civilian massacre and a photo of a dead person (possibly police stock?)

Go check this out;

You might want to consider changing the topic title to Hong Kong '97 if you want to discuss the game in general. What you have right now reads like one of those sleazy clickbait banner ads along the lines of "You Can LOSE 100 LBS By Using This Weird Trick"

It might as well be. AVGN at this point is basically a glorified advertisement of bad games that no one should care about beyond weird curiosity. I had certainly never heard of this game till the AVGN episode, and I'm pretty sure the same goes for you and everyone on this board.

While AVGN has gained his reputation through reviews of bad games, they don't equal his personality.

There's a list of bad games he's still yet to review after all!
