I'm more interested in Fallout 4 than anything else. Although I will definitely look at Doom 4 if it's as good as the Quakecon attendees say it is.

I've been following following Fallout 4 news for a while and especially on its reveal. I'm interested but worried. I don't mind the East Coast getting attention but I really want more New Vegas and less Fallout 3.

Well, mostly I just want good writing.

I'll be watching it after the fact for Fallout 4, Dishonored 2 and Elder Scrolls Whatever news. I fully expect my wife to pass out with excitement if all three games are in attendance. Doom 4 will have to be something special to draw me into wanting it.

You know what I'm actually REALLY curious about? Is if any of these are making it onto Linux. Because Bethesda's been getting really cozy with Steam lately, and with Steam Machines coming out being based on Linux... Oh man, that could make Linux gaming big.

So I just found out this conference starts at 3AM over here. I think I'll wait until tomorrow for all the juicy details then, that's just too late for me. XD;;

Meh, overall it was ok-ish.

*Doom has potential, but looks unappealing for now; not counting that the whole presentation was clearly pre-rendered (they didn't even tried), it looks more like Halo if the green colourss were replaced with orange. The fatalities are nice, but i can see them becoming very repetitive (unlike the chainsaw weapon, wich seem to trigger different death animations: i can dig that). Also, the emphasis on the multyplayer scares me a bit, but the level editor seems promising.

*Not-TF2 that looks unfinished as fuck. Sorry, not caring for it.

*Dishonored II looks so much promising in all its aspect. I also called the first game Remaster.

*Elder Scrolls online stuff. Game still looks boring, and we may even have bear armor DLC.

*Elder Scrolls card game for mobile. Don't care one single bit for such garbage.

*As for Fallout 4, good for you guys. It's just not my cup of tea.

Pretty disappointed that they decided to jam Mass Effect's dialogue wheel into Fallout 4 as well as the apparent lack of varying voice options for your player character, but I figured that was the direction Bethesda was going to take so whatever. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Rest of the game looks neato though. I like that your armor is more customizable this time around and that using vats doesn't halt everything to a standstill. I also get the feeling that they're trying to focus more on adding longevity to a single playthrough rather than encouraging multiple runs through the game what with the inclusion of stuff like the detailed settlement crafting system.

From a gameplay perspective it looks a lot better than New Vegas, however it seems like in-depth role-playing opportunities have taken a back seat yet again. Damn shame.

Also Doom looks sick as fuck. Can't wait.

Layered armor options....YES!

I loved the F4 stuff.  So much customization and so many things to do.  I'm also glad that the building stuff is optional but so cool that it is in there.  My only reservation is a voiced PC.  I know the F3 and F4 games have a more strict character backstory for the PC, I just hope that doesn't show up in TES 6 where the player agency is more up for interpretation.

Looks like skills may have been scrapped from Fallout 4.

If so... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

NOW NOW, I think we can all agree that Fallout 4 & Doom 4 took the cake this year. So far best to be shown.

This was such a fantastic little conference - short on games, but those they did show were huge. Doom looked incredible, Fallout 4 was wonderful, Skyrim was alright. Fallout's presentation was easily the best of E3, in part because my wife wept with joy for over an hour during and after, and because it really was packed to the gunnels with great new features and such.

The only remotely sub-pay thing was the fact that Battlecry looks like Bethesda aping Team Fortress' success, rather making than an interesting game in its own right.
