The famous composer of An American Tail, Land Before Time, Braveheart and Titanic died in a plane crash near Santa Barbara. He was 61 years old.

Really sad to hear this news. He was a brilliant composer and I remember his music fondly, especially Titanic and the Land Before Time. RIP Horner, your music lives on.

That's awful! I he's up heart if his music in various movies and it's a shame to see him go. RIP, James Horner.

Oh my goodness.

Thank you James Horner, for making the song 'My Heart Will Go On' so beautiful. This is a tragedy!

My condolences to his family and friends at this tragic time, and may his soul rest in peace. :(

This is indeed heartbreaking, I'm shocked to hear the news. Even if his recent scores can't even begin to touch his famous works in the past (his scores for An American Tail, The Rocketeer and Titanic are some of my favorites out of any movie), this is nonetheless a very tragic loss. May you rest in peace, James Horner. Our hearts will go on for you.
