Sonic: "No... It's too burned to identify anything. Who could've done this?"

Sayaka: "It's pretty obvious this is Metarex work... Right?"

"I've never seen BTYT successfully kill anyone."

"Shit! Are we too late?"

Raga surveyed the area

"Come on out you son of a bitch and take your beating like a man!"

[Failinhearts]

*nothing happens*

Sonic: "Show yourself you scaredy-cat!"

*grabs his sword*

"Why'd you kill this guy?!"

*rustling in the trees*

[Klinsy]

Meowkie: "NYA, what's going on here?"

"I-Is that a ... person who's soul is lost?"

"Hmm, I think it's time for some detectivey, if that's a word, boss."

"Let me examine who this is, I should at least find out the bullet and the gun it belonged to with markings report."

[Failinhearts]

Sonic: "No sign of the gun."

Sayaka: "I'm sure we'll find the bullet!"

"It's probably lodged in that guy's head."

Madoka: "Ew!"

[Klinsy]

Serena: "Alright, here comes the big finale!"

*Makes her face appear first*

"The best should be first."

*Tries to make another face but it's her's again*

"And um, like, I dunno, second?"

"Okay, okay, I got this, your face will appear in the sky soon!"

Rosie: "Serena, it's okay, don't stress yourself out, silly!"

Homura: "I'll take care of the bullet."

*Homura grabs the bullet out of the head*

Madoka: "H-Homura, weren't you scared when you grabbed that?"

Homura: "No."

Thoughts: (Yes.)

[Klinsy]

Meowkie: "Let me examine it, I should be able to find out what gun it came from with ballistic markings."

"Hmm, if it seems if this gun came from anywhere, it's not on this planet, I can't find anything in my files that matches."

DETECTIVE DEDUCTION

"I'd go as far to say this gun isn't it from this dimension, my friend Galaga Ship has seen many space guns but none of this match this bullet."

"Though, most of them were usin' laser rays instead of bullets..."

*BFZ takes a closer look at the bullet*

"Hang on there's a symbol here."

"Uh, guys, does this symbol ring any bells to you?"

Sayaka: "It's not a Metarex symbol, that's for sure."

*Tails flies in*

Tails: "Hang on, let me see...."

*observes the bullet*

"It's the symbol of the Sentinels! My race! But who would do that?"

Sayaka: "Mephiles?"

Tails: "Mephiles isn't one to use our symbol, let alone use a gun. He prefers to get his hands dirty if you know what I mean. The only other person who would do this is....."

"NO!"

"He's still alive?"

BFZ: Who are you talking about? Who's still alive? We gotta know Tails!

[Failinhearts]

Tails: "Shifter. My first attempt at creating a new line of flesh and blood Sentinels."

"I thought I could rejuvinate my race, but I didn't go out as planned."

Sonic: "Shifter, as the name suggests, can mold his body into different forms. Kinda like clay."

Tails: "I tried to make him into a being who wanted to protect humanity, and all living creatures with all his might. He wanted to. Heck, he STILL wants to. He thinks that he's the better hero."

"Shifter believes that the only way to eliminate evil, is to kill the enemy on the spot. Killing isn't the Disciple way. Shifter saw a friend of his get harmed by somebody, a petty thug. So he came down and brutally murdered him in the name of his own justice. We would just rough him up and arrest him. Shifter takes it way too far."

"He calls us cowards, believing that kiling the threat is the only path to true peace. He says putting a villain in confinement wouldn't do anything, as he'll just vow revenge and break out, causing more trouble. And sometimes, he's right. They do leave and they do cause more trouble. This is why Shifter calls us the enemies. Because we indirectly cause more trouble by letting these enemies go. We still do it though, because killing just isn't right in our books. It makes us no better."

"Shifter left, being his own hero and trying to kill US. Because he believes we're just as much as a threat to world peace as the Metarex. He calls himself a being of punisment. He calls himself...."

"Scourge."

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

BFZ: That name reminds me of a certain green hedgehog....

Lucario: In any case, we better find this...Scrouge fast. Before he kills someone else!

And if he gets a Smash Ball, it'll be worse!

[Failinhearts]

Tails: "He'll show up. I know it."

*2 weeks later....*

Tails: "Alright... So he isn't showing up. Anyway-"

*a portal opens up, Sonic and Sayaka emerge from it*

Sonic: "I am beat. Me and Sayaka's magic reserve is almost depleted! However, we managed to win this fight! The Metarex really did give us a hard time, though!

Tails: "Sorry I wasn't there to help you out like usual, but I got a surprise for you! I completed RITE!"

Sayaka: "No way, really?!"

Tails: "Yes really! Now, bring Madoka and Homura here and I'll demonstrate how RITE will end the war!"

*15 minutes later, Madoka and Homura arrive*

Tails: "With this device, it'll re-write the laws of ANY universe and prevent the Metarex from ever entering! And this world will be a first test!"

Madoka: "Tails, are you sure about this?"

Tails: "Of course I am! Sayaka and Sonic's Golden Weapon DNA, combines with the power of the crystal ball, it should manipulate time and space enough to change these laws! It shouldn't affect anything else. I'm essentially making a barrier. Now, without further ado.... TIME TO CHANGE HISTORY!"

*presses a button and RITE starts whirring and glowing*

*a computer starts sounding an alarm, playing a message*

Sonic: "Tails, what is that computer saying?"

Tails: "It should show what RITE is doing...."

*flies up to it*

"No, no, no, nonononono!"

Homura: "What is it doing?"

Tails: "It's programming is tampered with! It's re-writing everything from... Meowkie's DNA?!"

"Oh no, it was on the crystal ball! Now the world is setting everything and everyone to... A detective themed world? But everything over there is black and white!"

"BLACK AND WHITE!"

Sayaka: "Tails, you have to find a way and fix this!"

Tails: "I can't reverse it!"

Sonic: "Our magic reserve is low! Me and Sayaka are gonna be affected! It's all up to you!"

Tails: "Sonic! Sayaka! Quickly! Escape through a port-"

*a huge blinding, explosion occurs, sending everyone flying*

*Tails, Madoka and Homura land on a forest*

Tails: "Ugh.... Is everyone here alright?!"

Madoka: "I think so and-"

"Why am I black and white?!"

Homura: "This world has no color anymore..."

Tails: "There's more to that. Look off into the distance! The town has turned into an old 1950s city!"

(The Noir storyline has begun!)

BFZ: WHAT'S GOING ON?!!

*humonguous explosion*

Lucario: OH NOOOOoooooooooo

*Lucario looks around*

Where am I? And WHY'S EVERYTHING BLACK AND WHITE?!

*Lucario summons his aura, which is also black and white*

I can use my powers, but without color! Something's wrong. I must find the others!

*Lucario runs off*

*after the explosion*

Sonic: "Ugh, where am I? What am I?"

*looks up to see a detective's office*

"Ah, yes. Now I remember. I assist Nightwing and Meowkie on their detective adventures! I'm just a super fast hedgehog with that manages the office!"

MEANWHILE....

Tails: "No, no, no. It's all my fault!"

*panics and paces the floor*

Homura: "Tails The Fox, snap out of it!"

"Do you know any plans of solution?"

Tails: "I-I think I can re-write the world back to normal. I need to re-build RITE and I need Serena's DNA. Since she's the spirit of the town, I can use it to revert everything to normal!"

Madoka: "Can't we just go back to the Helicarrier?"

Tails: "We can't. I've locked the world to only be manipulated by the RITE model that re-wrote it. So, only that RITE model will work. We just need to find it's missing pieces!"

"However, I think everyone got their memories re-done except us! We might be on our own!"

"Hello? It's Tails, Madoka and Homura! Anyone recognize us?!"

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

*Lucario is running*

It's the M&M fox, and the two girls! They may know what's going on!

*Lucario gets to them*

What's happening? Everything's black and white! Tails EXPLAIN!

[Failinhearts]

Tails: "Lucario? You're OK? Your memories are intact?"

Homura: "Tails acted like an idiot and made a machine that recreated the entire universe."

"Someone hijacked it to do that."

Tails: "Thanks for making me feel better...."

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

Lucario:.... Yes. My memories are...fine. 

This machine has made the place black and white... like a detective story. 

I can still use my powers though. 

I can't find that hedgehog girl though....

Tails: "Well, thank the Golden Weapons that you're OK!"

"Your Writer must be protecting you...."

"Maybe we should find BFZ. And of course, Sonic and Sayaka."

"But then we gotta find the pieces of RITE, and Serena's DNA, and we need to find out who's behind this! UGHHHH."

"There's a lot to do!"

Lucario: I'm sure BFZ will be fine. We better go look for those pieces!

MEANWHILE:

BFZ: Woah.... everything is BLACK AND WHITE?!!? WHY?!?!

*BFZ explores around*

It's like a 1950's something city! The era of mystery!

*BFZ finds a mysterious machine piece*

Huh. What's this thing? Maybe I should save it for later....

*BFZ picks it up and leaves.*

Madoka: "I dunno what's going on anymore."

"It's so old here!"

Tails: "I remember when I was in the 1950s.... But it was obviously still in color. The movies weren't. Station Square looked so different."

Madoka: "Guys! It's Sayaka!!"

"Sayaka! Remember me?"

Sayaka: "I-I'm sorry. Who are you?"

Madoka: "I'm Madoka, your friend?"

Sayaka: "Sorry. I don't know a Madoka. I-I have to go. See you!"

*Sayaka runs off*

Madoka: "Sayaka.... Doesn't remember me."

Tails: "To be fair, when you were a Goddess she didn't remember you either."

Madoka: "Yeah, but it's not like I'm a Goddess now!"

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

Lucario: ...That girl Sayaka lost her memories. This is bad... We better fix this place fast. Otherwise, other people may lose their memories, or even worse....

I believe this explosion obviously pulled a genesis wave so bad, that it wiped her memories. Man Sonic's not gonna be happy.

Speaking in which, where is he anyway?

"No sign of color ANYWHERE! My powers still work...."

*Hears Jazz Music*

"Oh I suppose this is the background music? But that's for the detective! I'm no detective, I'm a traveller!"

*Bumps into Sayaka*

"OOF! Sayaka! There you are! Are you alright?!

"You know my name too? Who are you?"

"First that Madoka girl, now you. Am I some sort of secret celebrity?"

"Last time I checked. I'm just some regular girl."

Sayaka: *to BFZ*

"You know my name too? Who are you?"

"First that Madoka girl, now you. Am I some sort of secret celebrity?"

"Last time I checked. I'm just some regular girl."

"You... don't know who I am? I'm BFZ! Remember I was there during some fights? And you're a girl with magic powers! And Madoka's one of your closest friends!"
