Latest updates:

Eggman is about 4in
Big is about 4.25in

Needless to say, these are NOT re-releases of the Toy Island figs.

Amy is apparently part of another comic pack, but when she is released solo, she may come with a Piko Piko Hammer.

All these comic packs are starting to make me wonder, maybe we'll get comic exclusive characters somewhere down the line? Though I'm not a big Sally fan, I'd LOVE to have her in this scale. It'd also be a prime opportunity to get a Mighty figure.

I think I might just start copy pasting the rep's word here.

AWESOME CAKES! Looks like they actually have decided to scale the characters to each other for this line of figures, (Eggman and Big being taller) which is super cool as these are the most highly detailed and awesome Sonic related figures I've ever seen/owned :D
Hmm Amy in..another comic pack..? Whatever for? #200 was conceivable to have a collectors edition, but this...perhaps it'll be with #210, as Amy is prominent on the cover, even going so far as to have a pink SONIC logo on the comic. Very interesting. I am still waiting to hear about the Chaotix wave of these!

Hmm Archie inspired Sonic figures.. already have a Sally bendy :P Scourge would look neat..

How the heck did you get it for £18? After the £10 on the figure.. that only leaves £8 for shipping :o

Sally bendy? DO WANT.

I've got friends in America so I get charged the literal price of everything over there. Metal Sonic, Werehog plush, Archie special edition comic with figures, 3 Archie comics and some other stuff for £40 posted... When you consider how much Metal Sonic weighs on his own, that's pretty good. ^_^

Interesting point on the comic exclusive figures... It certainly would leave scope for those characters not popular enough for a mainstream release. I'd like to see Espio and Sally if they did that.

Check this out!

From the TRU site. Of note here is the shoes. Looks like they went on and fixed that stripe error. I didn't even look for that while I was at TRU. X_X

You know what, I'm just gonna stop buying these things when they first come out. It's starting to be cheaper.

It's hard to tell whether or not he has the fixed shoe stripe without opening the box..
Never really noticed, is it that big of a deal?

Depends on how big you are on accuracy.  Your mileage may vary.

For me (perfectionist faggot), it's enough to buy a new one and repaint the first into Metal Sonic 3.0

Maybe just paint the bottom of his shoes red? There's even a line of plastic there to use as a guide :D

It's a variant. If you're really big into figures, the one with the unedited stripe and the edited one would both be musts for they are, essentially, different figures. Likewise, for the perfectionists out there, the second figure is a must buy. I was not even aware of the difference in all fairness... I think he's cool either way.

I think this is an early photo of the figure, for concept purposes. Notice that the yellow paint is not metallic and that the stomach is painted differently.

*Compares his to the picture*

The color is the only difference on the stomach that I see..
Yeah, if you're a big Metal Sonic / Figure fan, you'd have more than one... but wouldn't the one with the mistake fetch more in a few years? :P

Ok, so the word is that Silver, Shadow, and Werehog are out now, and come with stands. First images courtesy of shigmado:

I will most definitely be hunting that Silver down.  That Shadow too, and Werehog just cause.

Can't be helped.  You can only be but so accurate at 3 inches and keep poseablity.

Oh, they're 3"? I thought they were 5" ones. That's fine then, shame they couldn't make a 5" of Silver though.

I thought the werehog one looked a bit different.

My local TRU never even got the Sonic and Tails ones. :( They only had the two pack of Knuckles and shitty clear Sonic. I wanted to collect them all. It's kinda bullshit that all the stores don't receive the same stuff.

I have that foot tall Metal Sonic figure. Pretty badass looking. Not going to take him out of his box though, so I can't take cool pictures of him posing or anything.

Wow!! Didn't expect my pics to make news on the front page of Sonic Stadium. Sorry for the fuzziness. Zoomed in too close.
