Thanks, I'm glad to hear that my junk is worthy of being on at least someone's Ipod, XD. I'm also glad you liked my album, even though I wouldn't go as far as calling it the best album, XP.

And thanks to you kind sir, =P! Well, I am sidestepping from something I was working on to make a short little something for Sonic Stadium's misfortune, D=. Actually, you kind of inspired me a bit since I'm just going to have lyrics over a guitar covered version of the Ending Credits from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. You're Sonic 3 Credits was too many amazing, XD. Not sure if this will carry through or not lyrics-wise, but the cover will be here nonetheless, =3.

When that's out of the way, I'm going to finish the song I've been working for a long time at, ^^". It's built in the fashion that lyrics will go over it, but I'm going to post it as the instrumental at first, and then spend a few days writing lyrics for it, ^_^. It's kinda more of a love song, even though I'm not in love, XD.

Aww thanks bro. I can't wait to hear your Sonic 2 credits cover. Thanks to a lot of the feedback I got on it I'll be extending mine, maybe we should do a whole bunch of covers just for fun and release it sort of like a mini-album thing? Nothing too big to commit to, could be done bit by bit over time for the fun of it all. I think it'd be neat and we could possibly get Yusuke in on it too XD!

Just throwing an idea out there ^_^!

I also cannot wait to hear this new song you've just mentioned =)

Lol, I'm not rich enough for an Ipod ^^ Maybe it's just because it has a lot of variety, most musicians always play one style, so it gets a little repetitive =P I have a tendency to get overexcited as well XD

Junk? WTF? It's more like rare jewellery. I've had it on my player for a whole year, if not longer.

I'll always be here for both you and Hue, man. Even being reduced to a n00b status with 0 posts doesn't re-arrange my mind. I'm a solid rocky mountain which cannot be moved.

So anyways, I'm still eagerly anticipating the Blur-Hue collab mix. That should be the first major step in bringing this pace back to life.

Wow, I didn't expect my topic to start gaining so many posts again, XP.

That sounds like a fun idea Thirteen, =D. I can't really bolt down to a schedule for it, so I'm glad it's a loose and fun idea (you probably can't buckle down to deadlines and junk either now that I think about it, XD). Let's just grab Yusuke and start when ever, =D. 2 songs can already be in the bank just about, ^^.

I'm glad that you like my diversity t3haxle, ^^. I was really aiming to make an album that varies greatly for a number of reasons: to hold an album that has a song for everyone, open doors to new genres for others, make it in the structure of a video game, and so on. However, I'm very interested in those who seem to share the love for any type of music, so I really like it when someone tells me they love the whole album, =P. Thanks dude, ^^.

Well, besides you DarkJedi188, XD. You're that solid rocky mountain that's always got my back through thick and thin for my art! I'll never forget that, you know that, XD. I think I recall you a few times saying that you were putting *blank* song on your player every once in a while now actually, ^^".

As for the HueBlur (awesome name, =D) song, I've just been kinda waiting for his say so whenever he's ready, ^^. I probably should have said this though awhile ago, since it just kinda struck my mind that he might being doing the same, X_x. I'm excited to see what we can mix up though! Some video game happy hardcore electric guitar thing or madness, =O.

If HueBlur doesn't pass... I think the above would make a great Song Name.

^_^ - I'm good to go, just trying to get some inspiration for a good blend between us.

I'll try to look for something as well, but I don't have any idea at the moment. Plus, I'm too tired anyways at the moment, gotta sleeps for work tomorrow. PM me if you find something, ^^.

Yes, that's exactly what I was imagining it to be... Just don't forget to add in some synth keyboard as well. ;)

As for inspirations... Just run a search query on "DOOM" and/or "Duke Nukem" on a site such as Overclocked. You should find plenty of examples there.

UPDATE!

Well thanks for all the responses guys, =D. But yes, I'll make it clear that this isn't about the band Blur, XD.

As for the update, I actually need your guys' help on this one, ^^". It's nothing much, I just need you to choose which introduction to my next song is what you like most. This is all for my new and exciting Balto EP album (EP meaning extended-play, aka about the size of half a full album. I'm shooting for 7 songs). Please note that the song is titled Northern Lights and only one of the intros mentions the Northern Lights. Please just don't choose that one because it says "har Northern Lights" in it, choose which clip you like best or sounds best, =3. This is going to be a sort of "love song" between Balto and Jenna (I'm lame, leave me alone, DX), so that might help in your decision, ^^.

I already have my vote on the first one I think. I like them all though, so this is where I need you guys, XD. (Also, ignore screw ups like the cymbal hit in the beginning of the first one. I'm going for how well the intro matches the part after, <3)

Northern Lights Intro 1
Northern Lights Intro 2
Northern Lights Intro 3

ALL BALTO SOUNDCLIPS ARE OWNED AND COPYWRITED TO IT'S CREATORS AND/OR UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. I'M BASICALLY SAYING THEY AREN'T MINE AND I'M NOT TAKING CREDIT FOR THEM.

Thanks everyone! This song should be done by the end of the week or sooner, =3. I have all of it laid out actually (depending on the intro, it's anywhere from 4:30-5:00 about). I just need to add some more instruments and record guitar.

Personally, I enjoyed the second version of the intro the most. And my reason is because in that version the dialogue of the characters blends in so smoothly with the incoming piano melody that nothing feels drowned out.
Unlike one of Huepow's mixes where the loud keyboard/piano totally drowns out the voice of someone speaking.

So yeah, my top vote is for intro#2. My secondary vote, if I'm allowed to have one, is for intro#1. ;)

Cool, glad you think the idea is awesome man =D! Like you said, I can't really get a schedule down either but I think if we just work on it bit by bit then we can achieve an awesome little mini-album of sorts. I'll definitely extend the Sonic 3 cover for sure then for this =D.

As for the new song, I cannot listen to it right now, but in two days I will be back at my Moms place =). People are heading off to bed here in my Dads apartment so it wouldn't be wise to listen to stuff, and I don't have my headphones with me either D:
