Lyrics:
What would you do
If given the chance to do what
You wanted to
In a world you created to be
Free
From reality
To rule this land
Because you can, Because you can.

You sound like the mysterious "Old Ben Kenobi" in his reclusive state. And it reminds me of Luke Skywalker lonesomely working at his Uncle's farm on Tatooine and awaiting for the day when he would finally be able to leave the boring planet behind.

Thanks Darkjedi, =P.

UPDATE!

Well, I actually have a whole song for you guys, XD. It's the completed version of the song I posted awhile ago: Wolf Of Romance. I worked on it for a good 5 hours today, but it's finally done! Unlike most of my songs recently, this one is rather short, 2 minutes and 6 or 7 seconds short actually, but I'm glad. I didn't want this whole album to consist of 5 minute plus songs; I like variety, <3.

Anyways, like I said before, it's influenced from old cartoons and such where the wolf does anything to get the girl he's after. Probably the biggest influence was the old cartoon "Red Hot Riding Hood." I think most people have seen or heard about this cartoon. You know? The one where the wolf is pounding and howling at a club at a stage girl?

So, for some reason, I thought of some real fast bluesy/rockabilly stuff, ^^. Getting on with the show though, here's the song.

Wolf Of Romance (Bandcamp)
Wolf Of Romance (Newgrounds)

Hope you enjoyed it, I had a blast making it, ^_^. There will be lyrics soon too, <3.

Werewolf Territory was just godly; you should write music for a living - I know I'd buy every album!

Godly? I must be getting better then XD. Glad you liked it though, thanks, =P. I don't think I could do this for a living though. I wouldn't want to get burnt out on it, D;.

Also! I had some time to do the vocals for "Wolf Of Romance," so I now present the people of SSMB with the lyrical and instrumental verisons. Enjoy!

Wolf Of Romance - Bandcamp
Wolf Of Romance - Soundclick
Wolf Of Romance - Newgrounds
Wolf Of Romance (Instrumental) - Bandcamp
Wolf Of Romance (Instrumental) - Soundclick
Wolf Of Romance (Instrumental) - Newgrounds

If you could, I would really, REALLY love some feedback on the vocal one. I'm still really new to singing with my songs, so every bit of criticism goes a long way, whether it be good or bad. I purposely chose to do a real gritty and scratchy voice for this piece because I thought it'd fit, =o.

Vocals-wise, it reminds me of Dave Mustaine. Well, in Megadeth's more 90s stuff. Seriously, listen to the song 'Sweating Bullets,' you'll understand what I mean. Since you're going for that rockabilly sorta sound, for the solo, I'd suggest using your neck pickup and cranking the gain down a wee bit. Overall, I likes.

Through my perception you sounded almost exactly like Vector the aligator from Team Chaotix! Especially when you chuckled and did the "w00t!" at the very beginning and at the very end. :D

Thanks everyone, =D. I guess I sound like an Aroo!ing Vector that now sings for Megadeth, XP.

I listened Sweating Bullets though, and I totally see what you mean. I really didn't know if this type of voice was going to work for this song, but I guess so. When I do the final remastering of the song when I'm almost ready to release the full album, I'll try what you said about the gain though. Hopefully I have a better microphone than the built in Mac mic by then. Thanks for the feedback though.

Mic eh? maybe I should mic my amp like some people do. Hey, anything beats plugging my amp's line out into the puter's line in. No fuzz pedal, just stock distortion. It gets the job done, but my sound quality is ass.

Can't wait to see some future work of yers.

UPDATE!

Well, this is one of those random songs I make in a sitting on rare occasions. It's that kind of song that you don't really put your fullest into, you just kinda make it for fun, ^_^. So I give you my version of Pachabel's Canon; one of the most over used songs of all time. I call it, well, Jake named it: "Chipped Canon." Enjoy.

Chipped Canon
Also for free download <3

Hope you liked it. It was originally only like 55 seconds, but Jake loved it and demanded moarz. So this is what came of it.

One of my faves by you I think. I almost half expected it though to turn super metal, like...I thought it sounded appropriate for the opening to a larger more metal piece around the 30 second mark. Don't ask me why, I just thought that haha.

Really good though, almost reminds me of elevator music. Sweet stuff though.

It's a perfect song. <3 The new stuff after the 1 minute mark was wonderful to listen to, and it doesn't sound repetitive at all. In fact, it's very subtle, and very fitting of Pachelbel's Canon. Like I expressed last night on MSN, it's very short, but it's also very sweet and to the point. Comparing this to one of my favorite online albums, I, Cactus, I feel that its length and simplicity are its virtues, and in place of a fancy tune, you end up with a profoundly emotional piece of music that, like you said, you only made for fun and didn't put all of your effort into it. But that is where I believe its charm lies. I also love its "distant" and quiet sound.

This song really tugs at my heartstrings~

Thanks guys, 8D. This song wouldn't have been anything if I didn't wind up showing it to someone. I didn't think anyone would like it, but I guess I was wrong, XD. I never even thought about it going metalz, but I don't think this song is going to be touched anymore than what I'm about to share in this

UPDATE!

*Awesome transition, 8D* This isn't really anything more than a version of Chipped Canon with out that "on the phone" effect. I don't like this version as much as the original, but I do like the drums in this, <3. Feels more awake or alive to me, so I'm calling it (well, once again Jake came up with it after I described it like that, <3): Chipped Canon (Alive Version).

Newground - Chipped Canon (Alive Version)
Soundclick - Chipped Canon (Alive Version)

Both can be downloaded fo'z free on either site. Also, I now have the original "Chipped Canon" on Newgrounds as well.

Chipped Canon

These will probably be on my website eventually, so keep a look out I guess. I'm soon going to be adding all of the "Animated Hero - The Difference One Person Makes" to my website as well. It's just tedious since I have to convert all the files to .wav.

xD! I'll be the first to say I lolled when the Newgrounds player for Chipped Canon was the one with the ">:C!!!" face. It reminded me that Canon was the most overdone song ever and that Pachebel rant I showed you. xDD Still, it's really cool, and the synth effects remind me of Genesis Sonic! Good stuff!

Sorry that I'm late... Anyways, this latest tune sounded so sweet in both of its renditions that it almost gave me 10 new cavities. ;)

Your original rendition causes me to imagine a wedding ceremony where a huge silent crowd intently watches a bride and a groom as they walk down the red carpet of some massive banquet hall, hand-in-hand.

Your second "alive" rendition sounds like a great replacement for the Starlight Zone background soundtrack in Sonic 1.

I LOVE The Animated Hero album thingy Blur. I mean really :)
I listen to it a fair bit and a few tracks are usually on my 'jogging playlist'.

Keep it up, you're a great musician :)

Thanks guys as always, <3. And I'm on a jogging playlist, O_o? Never thought my music would be "joggable" XD.

UPDATE!

Well, who knew that being wolf crazy would pay off, XD? I'll start from the top:

On the 29 of October, I get this PM at this site I go to called "Balto Source" (shut up, I lurv it, D;) asking if I'd like to do some score music for a animated series on Youtube about, well, wolves. So I look it over, and the animation wasn't half bad compared to a lot of fan made stuff I seen, so I joined, ^_^. I finally get a reply back tonight and told me all about how laid back it is and they understand the concept that since no one is getting paid, that people have more important things to do sometimes, <3. So now I'm apart of this animated series called "The Rebel's Howl" that's laid back as fuck and about wolves. *highfives anyone*

So after getting back from seeing "The Fourth Kind" (fucking awesome btw, scared my friend shitless lol), I find out that they made an introduction video for me, XD. However, I didn't realize that they have a huge amount of fans, O_O. After 4 hours of being up, there are all ready like 20 comments all praising my song "Wolf's Instinct" XD. Which, I forgot to mention, if you like that song, expect a shit load more songs in that same style 'cause that's what they want. Hmm, maybe I'm just used to the amount of feedback I get from my Youtube account compared to this, ^^.

All in all, I'm wolf glomped. The fun thing is, I know the wolf's instinct "way" or "formula" with the certain chord styles and instruments and junk (obviously, I made it, XD), so making more shouldn't be all too difficult, <3.

As for The Rebel's Howl, I don't know much about the story yet, but I do know that the first episode is actually completed, but they are determined enough to re-animate the entire thing again since they got a better animator. That's why in the link about to show, the older videos look more crappy than the newer ones, XD.

http://www.youtube.com/user/TheRebelsHowl

Not much, but the current animation and graphic quality
My intro video XD

So yeah, I'm excited to be apart of something so promising for once, <3. Plus, I really like that I'm becoming more well known musically to wolf fans. This should make my wolf album a huge hit hopefully, <3. I might try and sell it, =3. They know that my wolf album is priority though, but it's not hard to work simultaneously on something.

I just needed to tell people, and who better than my numero uno listeners at the SSMB, <3.

Aroo!

Congratulations on attracting tons of new fans at the other corners of cyberspace! It's a wonderful feeling which can be both elating and creepy all at the same time. ;)
Likewise, I seem to be attracting a mob of Sailor Moon fans and some Star Wars fans on my YouTube Channel... And I'm just a clumbsy gamer with emulators. LOL

Anyways, keep the new tunes pumping out. I'm eagerly looking forward to your upcoming wolf-themed album. Sometimes when I sleep at night I even try to imagine what the final product will sound like and what the coverart will look like. :D

Thanks Darkjedi!

First off before the update, I'd love to give a few fellow SSMB members a shout out they deserve for their musical work, ^_^:

Huepow00: We've been swapping our music back and forth for a long time now, =D. Though we may write completely different music, we still have a huge respect for each others work, <3.

Yusuke (Kosuna): An awesome compadre, and an ace at music magic! Yusuke is about to dish out his freshly new album, and I command everyone to hear it, >(.

Thirteen (DesertPunk): Another super great buddy of mine who can sing like a punk in the desert, 8D. Seriously though, peeps need to check his shits now, ^^. I hardly get to chat with him anymore, but he still has my two thumbs up for his great work!

Even though I just listed some beastly work, please go comment in their profiles, <3.

UPDATE!

Finally done with another song, ^^! Well, the instrumental anyways~

So, I give you the long overdue song of mine, Where the Wild Things Are! Inspired from the book, film, and music; this is what I made, =3. There will be the full version with vocals as soon as possible, <3. The only lyrics I have at the moment are for the part at 1:46. It follows the beat of the synth bell thing:

What would you do
If given the chance to do what
You wanted to
in a world you created to be
Free
From reality
To rule this land
Because you can, because you can

This song is going to be the last track on the Bloodline Calling album. I wanted to end this wolftastic album on a happy note, as long as something to give the listeners to think about. Out of all the songs, I'd have to say this is the song that's furthest away from wolves though. I mean, the only wolf part of it is that Max wears wolf pj's, but I'll try to come up with something better lyric-wise.

Anyways, here's the song:

Bandcamp - Where the Wild Things Are Instrumental
Fur Affinity - Where the Wild Things Are Instrumental

I would have uploaded on Soundclick, but the file size was a tad to large, X_x. Also, I'm going to stop using Newgrounds, since the random scoring and comments I get don't help me much as a musician. Plus, you can't control letting your song up for download or not. And while I'm at it. I'm going to become a more active Youtube user, <3. I'm waiting for a reply from Youtube over a problem (long story, nothing big tough), and will have all my stuff there, ^_^. I'm going to try to make a new account under the username Wolfblur, but that's what I'm waiting on Youtube for.

Oh, now a member of Fur Affinity, =D. That place is full of people who like wolves, ^_^!

Hope you liked though, ^_^. This song is the most physically painful song I've made. Dual-recordings with the 12-string guitar turned my fingers into hamburger, X_X.

Wow man, I really really like that. I don't know if its exactly what you want to hear, but in the instrumental version it sounds so fitting for a videogame track too. I bet with vocals that will disappear, but man you make some kickass stuff that would just make my ears explode from awesome if they were in a videogame.

Really awesome upbeat song, can't wait to hear it with the vocals on it!

You know what it reminds me of too? Building toolboxes with my Dad on a hot Sunday. The calm moments are when we take out the screws and stuff from the other toolbox we are not building and then the more intense moments are when we build the toolbox we don't need to build. I'm sure you've done that and so this is a reflection of your experience with it and its so wonderful.
