...holy shit, you know what this could also mean?

Guys.

Super Smash Bros 4.

DLC characters and stages.

Do you think it's possible for them to add things like the ability to play a single race? I hope so...just karts and characters (except Waluigi, he needs to be prioritized over everything) would be a little underwhelming.

Maybe the reason that it was rather lacking in content was to show off the DLC abilities of the Nintendo Network? (free of course)

I really hope that's not the case...I never thought Nintendo would jump on the 'you need additional DLC (free or otherwise) to experience the full game, even though you've already paid the price of a full game' bandwagon. D:

My, what a nice birthday present Mr. Iwata.

The Nintendo 3DS turns 1 today in Europe, and as a birthday gift, Mr. Iwata has sent out a special Mii that not only adds to your accomplishments list, but he also has all of the puzzle panels, so this is your chance to get a new panel or get one of those darn pink pieces nobody else in your town seem to have.

Japan already got it last month, and it's finally arrived in Europe. He sent it via Spotpass earlier today, so check your notifications or something.

North Americans will get this on the 27th.

No, the reason it had less content was due to Nintendo feeling like they needed to get it out for Christmas because, they NEEDED something to sell the 3DS.

Gotta get out if you want those pink pieces. I live in NJ and I usually find people with pink pieces when I travel up north or to places like NY and such. The only puzzles I have yet to 100% are the Super Mario 3DS puzzle and the newer Kid Icarus, which I'm like 3 pink pieces away from XD

Problem is, LunarEdge, people over in the UK don't really have so many 3DSes about. I live in a small town here and the only 3DS I can ever connect with is the one in the game shop - all of the surrounding areas are even smaller towns so that's no help.

My main source of connections was actually Summer of Sonic last year, so hopefully this year will help towards that, too.

There really should be a way to trade pieces online, so people who don't live in places with high populations have a chance.

Hear, hear! It'd be nice if you could at least 'distance StreetPass' friends when you were online at the same time. Except for my trip to Disney World, I've made a total of 6 hits in one trip to the state capital (out of about 14 weekends), 1 during 2 weeks in Philadelphia, and 0 in my hometown. I don't even have a store with a demo model, let alone an actual functional display 3DS.

US gets Reggie from Nintendo today for the 1st anniversary. I just spent way too much time trying to decide which puzzle piece to take. Should I finish the Zelda puzzle (blue which I can in theory eventully buy), take the last pink for Rhythm Heaven (which I'm not interested in and still has 5 blues missing, or a pink from one of the puzzles I actually want to solve? Ended up taking one of the two missing 3D Land pinks.

Phooey. I wanted Iwata. Doesn't Europe get him as well?

Ah well. I guess Reggie is okay. I mean, it makes sense because he's NoA's president, but Iwata would be better because, well, he's pretty much Nintendo itself.

I think that's kinda lame that it wasn't Iwata the whole world over, but as long as he does the same things, right?

I think America is kind of lucky, to be honest. You'll probably get Iwata at one point, but we won't get Reggie, meaning you guys have one more special Mii.

That's very true. If only Europe had their own charismatic representative from Nintendo.

Well, Nintendo doesn't seem to like Europe all that much, so meh.

No, I didn't bump to say that, I saw the news about Mario Tennis Open.

Spoiler

Oh really? Dang. Guess I won't be picking it up anytime soon. Maybe if it gets a big price cut, but probably not.
